Harry Potter Tour for All - Ellie was fantastic! Pro Tip - tour starts NOT from bus stop RF due to construction. Find the burial ground as it starts there. Tour is fun, informative and interactive even for those with no knowledge of Harry Potter. Good mix of historical, Potter information and other tidbits worth hearing. Tour takes 2 hours and ends at Shambles Market.

Good - Very good and entertaining for Harry Potter fans! Ellie was a gem!
Loved the quiz and the teaming up if the group. I missed going in to the railwaystation witch I saw on pictures from the tour, but either way a super way to spend a couple of hours in york! Do recomend!

Professor Ellie and the Tour of York - Had a fantastic, dare i say ‘Magical’, time on the tour! Learnt loads about York and even a few things about Harry Potter which I loved! I am a huge potterhead and had a great time with all the quizes that Ellie masterfully set! Her knowledge is fantastic and she was so cool! Thanks for a memorable couple of hours!

Great tour with amazing guide! - Had the best time on the Harry Potter tour around York! Our guide Ellie was absolutely amazing. Funny, knowledgeable, and full of magical energy. She brought the wizarding world to life while showing us hidden gems around the city and through the super engaging quiz. Thank you, Ellie, for an unforgettable experience!

Aliyah was great she was... - Aliyah was great she was super friendly and nice. She was also a huge Harry Potter fan which I can definitely appreciate. I will say that there are no actual filiming locations of HP in York so don’t expect that but there’s tons of stuff that the stories are based on. I will also say that I enjoyed the quizzes a ton, but for those who aren’t super knowledgeable on Harry Potter it may be difficult for you to understand or enjoy. For me though I had a wonderful time!

Great way to see the city. - This was a very enjoyable walking tour which encompassed some of the main points of interest in York. The walking wasn’t too taxing and there were fairly regular breaks. The tour was Harry Potter themed and there were interesting insights into some of the inspiration behind the books. The quiz was fun and tied it back to Harry Potter, although I felt it was more of a tour about York and its history with looser connections to the Harry Potter stories. I personally didn’t mind this but bigger Harry Potter fans might be expecting more. I was expecting we’d finish off by visiting the Harry Potter-inspired shops in the Shambles but we didn’t. Although I suppose this is easy enough to find in your own time after the tour.

Disappointing and misled with advertising of tour - Very disappointing tour. Was not what was advertised, other than having a Harry Potter quiz throughout, the tour was not related to Harry Potter. Guide was nice but appeared not to be used to children and overlooked them alot in favour of adults when quizzing the group.
It was very slow pace and guide stalled at a lot of spots. Was some history of you’re but not a lot. Was hard to hear at times & meeting place wasn’t advertised clearly. I was expecting a more engaging and theatrical guide to keep kids in engaged but they got bored very early into tour. I would not recommend this to other families with young children.
