• Colonial Williamsburg - This group tour showcases the Christmas traditions and charming holiday decorations of Colonial Williamsburg’s historic area. Participants will gain insights into the materials, artisans, construction, and design of the wreaths and garlands that adorn the exteriors of many 18th-century buildings, exhibits, and private homes, as well as the different judging categories. The meeting point is near the ice skating rink on the Duke of Gloucester. The tour will cover how holidays were celebrated in the 17th and 18th centuries in Virginia, including on plantations, in the capital cities, and during the Revolutionary War (e.g., Continental Army). Wireless headsets, sanitized before each tour, are provided to ensure clear communication with the guide. The walking tour covers approximately 1 mile, starting on the south side of the Duke of Gloucester and returning on the north side.

Note: Grand Illuminations take place on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Saturdays of December (7pm fireworks). The Yule Log lightings occur on the first, second, and third Fridays of December.
