Beautiful place to see.... - Beautiful place to see. They were on time and very knowledgeable about the windmills and other parts of the tour. Kept everyone informed of where and when we need to meet up. Great tour. You will enjoy it.

Jan 10th 2026 - Such a great tour! Our guide was great, very helpful and answered all our questions 😊 Zaanse Schans in the snow was beautiful, recommend making your own hot chocolate from the local cocoa. Just a shame we can't bring cheese back to the UK!

Great day, highly recommend - Easy to locate tour office and we were greeted by our very friendly guide on arrival. Comfortable bus ride to village with some great commentary along the way about the area. Beautiful area to visit with lots of things to see and do. Highly recommend.

Windmill - We made the tour to meet the wind mills. We could learn about the manufacture of Dutch squirrels and gouda cheese. Total duration of the tour of 3 and a half hours, about 25 minutes of bus ride. Our guide Rob was great, very charismatic and attentive.

Worth the time and expense, slightly disappointing demonstrations - The communication and tour guide were great, and the location is very picturesque but I was somewhat disappointed by both the cheese and clog-making demonstrations. I was hoping for a more comprehensive look at both processes and found that the short demonstrations - while interesting - were somewhat limited. There were plenty of delicious cheeses to sample in the cheese shop, and an adorable little antiques shop among the other tourist spots. I had a delicious sandwich and Dutch coffee in cafe, which has table service. I'm glad I went - got some great pictures - but would rather have had a more rounded experience with both "maker" demonstrations. My expectations might have been set too high, so I'll not overly fault the tour.

Information about where... - Information about where the check in location to the actual bus location is a long walk especially for those with mobility issues. Actual meeting location was not relayed to any participants.

Save you money and take a taxi - First off the address that they provided to us was where the buses were not where we were supposed to meet so it took us nearly 20 minutes to find where we were supposed to find the group. The tour guide was more interested in telling us about the value of his and the bus drivers $1.2 million euro, homes and lack of resources than anything that would’ve been of interest or relevant to a tour. Once we arrive at the destination, the tour guide was essentially useless and we had zero interaction with him. I would suggest saving your money and just taking an Uber to this area. You would get the same exact experience that we got for significantly less.
