Another fabulous Viator tour in Croatia! - Our guide Tonka was fabulous! This was our second culinary walking tour as we are a multigenerational group, and these are easier for the older participants….our first one in Dubrovnik was wonderful, but Tonka also hit it out of the park in Zadar! I would highly recommend this particular tour and guide, and this type of tour in general, if you have members of your group needing a little less strenuous activity. All of the places we visited were top notch and the food was AMAZING! Tonka was also a fabulous guide!

We had a wonderful time... - We had a wonderful time with our tour guide and he did a great job showing us some local spots of food, wine and ice cream! There was delicious famous cheese, a variety of seafood, locally sourced wine and liquor as well as a small restaurant with the greatest prosciutto! We're sorry we cannot remember his name but as a group of 4 we all had a flavorful and insightful 3 hour adventure through the old town of Zadar! Come to Zadar and must call for this tour for a full lunch of tasting and touring the old city with a lovely guide!

Culinary delights - ES was an absolutely successful experience! Our tour guide Tonka led us to great places and was just incredibly nice! She knew a lot to tell and made this tour, in addition to the delicacies we were allowed to taste, a really first-class day! We would definitely book this tour again!

Fabulous Food Tour - Our guide Andrija was very knowledgeable about the local food and history of Zadar, he was very engaging and we really enjoyed our day in the old town sampling a variety of food & drink. Our children are 15 & 19 years old and they thought it was great too.

Zadar Food Tour - This was a great way to experience Zadar and taste the foods and beverages native to Croatia. tanka was our guide and she was excellent. She gave us a great tour and history of Zadar and picked out great food s for us to try. We also toured the farmers market and fish market. Highly recommended. Ask for Tanka to be your tour guide.

5 Star Food & Sight Seeing Tour, Highly Recommend … book it! - WOW … a 3 hour Food Tour of non stop eating & sampling & visiting different Restaurants & Markets to sample the best of Zadar & Croatia’s food & drink .. & taking in the sights of Zadar Centre as we went! We (3 of us only) had Tonka & she was SO Knowledgeable about the local cuisine as well as the Country & Town’s History … & super friendly! She also changed & catered for dietary requirements etc & one of our party didn’t drink wine but got to try local juice instead etc We had Olive Oils, Travarica Rakija (Herb Brandy), Pelinkovac (Bitter-Sweet Liqueur) and Maraschino (Cherry Liqueur), Various Wines, Pag cheese, produced on the island of Pag, (Hard sheep's milk cheese with a distinctive flavour due to the sheep grazing on salty, aromatic vegetation), Prosciutto, a variety of Seafood which I usually don’t like but the smoked Mussels & smoked Tuna were surprisingly not fishy and finished with fabulous cakes that were gone before I took any photos! We visited traditional older venues, new modern ones from cafes to restaurants, as well as specialist shops. I’d say book this tour for your 1st or 2nd day of your trip as it will help you get to know the centre better as well as know what & where to look out for during your stay.

Excellent food tour with a fantastic guide! - This was an amazing food tour! We do a food tour on our first day in a country so we have some insight into what foods are local and to better help us order food for the rest of our trip. Our guide was incredible! He shared so much valuable information about not only food, but history as well. All of the food was so very delicious, but our last stop for the seafood plate for two was the absolute best!! The Croatian gelato was fantastic! The local wine was delicious as well. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this tour for anyone who likes to eat and wants to learn about local food and wine!

Hmmm - We tried ham, two types of cheese, two wines, olives, smoked mussels, seafood salad, and a couple of bland mousses on bread, common gelato in the end. From the guide's explanation, I didn't learn anything new about the gastronomic features of the region. In other countries, gastronomic tours were more informative and we tried unusual food from the local area
