- Ošljak - Ošljak (Italian: Calugerà) is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea. It is situated just off the Dalmatian coast between Zadar and the island of Ugljan. According to the 2011 Census, the island’s sole village, located on the western shore and facing the towns of Kali and Preko on Ugljan, has a population of 29 residents. The island’s highest point, Lazaret, reaches 90 meters (300 feet). Ošljak was formerly known as Calugerà, named after the noble Calogerà family who owned the island and built their summer residence and gardens there. After a half-hour of sailing, sightseeing, and exploring the Adriatic Sea’s beauty en route to Ošljak Island, we will stop for swimming and snorkeling.
- Ugljan Island - Ugljan is part of the Zadar archipelago. The island has been inhabited since the Stone Age, with even older remains hidden in two caves. Known as the green island, it is covered with dense bushes, pine trees, olive trees, fig trees, vineyards, and other Mediterranean vegetation. Like many coastal areas, Ugljan has always had a strong connection to the sea, boasting a long fishing tradition and a 2000-year history of olive cultivation. The island’s northeastern side is populated, with well-known places like Kukljica, Preko, Ugljan, and Kali, while the other side is mostly steep and uninhabited. We will stop on this island for sightseeing, swimming, and an optional lunch.
- Zadar - The tour concludes with a half-hour sail from Ugljan Island. You can enjoy the view of the islands and the refreshing sea breeze as we head back to the Zadar meeting point.
