Augusto is an exceptional tour guide - We went on a tour on 30th July, guided by Augusto Nicolosi. We first went with the Jeep around Etna, then took a cable car to the top and then did some hiking up top. Augusto was a perfect guide, he was super knowledgeable not only about Etna and surroundings, but also about the whole Sicily, including history, archeology, culture, food, etc. His passion for Sicily was remarkable. We learned more from him in one tour than we did through any other excursions in our week in Sicily. He also suggested a lot of great places to visit that we did and enjoyed. During our day, it was rather cloudy, so at times our visibility up front was limited and we did not see all the beauty. But Augusto made up for this by providing extra activities. For example, we visited Lava Tube which was not in the initial tour. So I definitely recommend Augusto and Etna Passion to anyone who is looking to learn a lot about Etna and Sicily in general. Augusto also made sure we are comfortable, provided trekking shoes and always checked up on how me and my wife felt. 10/10 experience.

Amazing Etna Tour with Augusto - Three weeks in Sicily and the highlight was the Etnatour up to 3000 m with Augusto. We loved it, had a lot of fun and learned a lot. He adapted the tour individually to our wishes. He has a totally sympathetic way of imparting his extensive knowledge of volcanoes and, moreover, the entire history of Sicilia. An absolute recommendation.

Very nice experience! - We stayed with Lino, a very competent and sympathetic guide, a few days after the last eruption of Etna on the so-called Crateri Silvestri. Even for non-experienced an experience! Lino knows a lot of background knowledge, including about fauna, flora and mineralogy. Grazie, Lino!

Etna and its origin. - Linen, prepared and engaging guide. With him we discovered the history of the origin of Etna and learned the names of the plants that adapted to live in that environment. Experience to be redone.

Book your visit to Mt Etna with Augusto! - My husband and I, and our adult children, spent the day touring Mt Etna with Augusto. We highly recommend his excellent tour, which was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. He enthusiastically shared his in-depth knowledge of Mt Etna. He is engaging, charming and funny. You'll have a memorable day with Augusto!

Great for history and nature lovers - incredible views and family fun lava tube exploring! - Super informative tour - our guide, Augusto, was passionate and engaging, telling stories and history of Etna throughout the experience. Etna is beautiful and scenic, and our favorite part was exploring the lava tube (long tunnel-like cave) with our daughters (ages 4 & 7)! Views from the top are incredible (windy and cold, bring a sweatshirt, our guide informed us before the tour). It’s a long experience (our tour was 5hours), so plan accordingly with snacks/food - it was my husband’s favorite experience of our 11-day vacation (he loves both history and nature).
