Amazing experience - Wonderful experience, highly recommended! The drive takes a while ( arrive in desert about 5:30pm) but you stop off and it allows you to see beautiful land marks of morroco and the night in the desert / Camel ride is so beautiful- the staff at the camp are so welcoming and kind. I would say it is worth the price and would definitely recommend!

Really beautifull! - We really enjoyed this trip. We got picked up in Marrakech early in the morning. It is a long drive, but with beauty all around in the Atlas Mountains. We stopped at Ait Ben Haddou, which definitely is worth it. At arriving in the desert we went with the camels to our camp. The camp was really nice, the tents big, and everything was thought of. On the way back we stopped at a few places for photo’s and lunch, but went almost straight back to Marrakech. We even got dropped of at a different place then pick up, which was really convenient and nice of the organisation! Definitely recommend!

Stunning Views, Rushed Schedule - The organisation of this trip was quite chaotic. The provided information was extremely limited, and we only received some details the night before departure. Once we managed to get on the right bus, the trip could start. The road to Zagora was stunning! The landscapes you travel through never get boring. Driving in Morocco is quite different from what we’re used to. The driver’s skills were good and, despite the high speed, we felt safe. Be aware that when booking this type of trip, you’re guided from one touristy place to another. Guides are waiting for you, steer you into specific shops and restaurants, and there is barely any room for choosing your own stops or visiting places independently. We stopped a few times just to take pictures, but there was no time to go inside (e.g. the film studios). We once had lunch at a different place, and the driver was absolutely not amused. As soon as we did something that wasn’t according to his plan, he changed from friendly to grumpy. He even stopped talking to us for more than an hour. The schedule was also very tight, which made every visit feel rushed. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed the trip: the stunning mountain roads, the camel ride, and the night at the camp. At the camp, everyone was very friendly. The food was okay, and the campfire, music, and dancing were very entertaining. Unfortunately, there were lots of bright lights at the camp, which made stargazing very difficult from nearby. This was disappointing. If you have more time, I’d recommend a longer trip. And if you really want to experience the desert, this is not the place. It gives you a glimpse of it, but don’t expect the sandy dunes.
