Ouarzazate to CHEGAGA crossing the Draa Valley

Draa Valley - After breakfast at the hotel, direction M’Hamid, passing through the Anti-Atlas mountains to discover the Drâa valley.

Tamnougalt - Stop to visit the Kasbah of Tamnougalte. a fortified casbah in the middle of the valley in a strategic position with architecture of the time

M’Hamid - After lunch in Zagora. Continuation to M’Hamid, small visit of the center of M’hamed and do the last race for the great crossing of the desert

Erg Chigaga - after the distribution of the tents, departure by camel to the big dunes to watch the sunset. Return to the bivouac around the fire at the foot of the great dunes of Chigaga. Animation.

Chegaga to Ouarzazate

Tamnougalt - After a breakfast, departure to M’Hamid in dromedaries (1 hour) to join the Ksour of Tamnougalte to visit the kasbah, the Koranic library and the Potters workshops.

Zagora - Lunch with the locals. In the afternoon, departure through the tall palm trees of Zagora by the old caravan route to reach Ouarzazate.

Foum Zguid - departure for Ouarzazate by the track between the erg of Chegaga and Foum Zguit passing by the lake Iriqui.

Shop Espace Taznakht - continuation by road via Taznakht the capital of carpets in Morocco. Stop at the carpet cooperative for explanations of the different kinds of carpets in the region. After a lunch break, we take the road to Ouarzazate.
