• Zakynthos Town - Start your tour early in the morning with a convenient pickup from your accommodation. On the way to Porto Vromi, enjoy the views of the awakening nature, including olive groves, vineyards, traditional village houses, old churches, and breathtaking panoramic views of the turquoise sea.
• Porto Vromi - From the small port, board a medium-sized boat and sail for about 20 minutes along the island’s west coast. Enjoy the unique landscapes featuring enormous limestone cliffs that plunge into the sea and secluded white beaches.
• Navagio Beach - Upon reaching one of the most famous beaches, feel fortunate to enjoy the view without the crowds. Although the beach is closed for safety reasons due to landslide risks, the captain will bring you close to the shore to capture photos of the shipwreck, which has rested on the white sandy beach since grounding in 1980.
• Blue Caves - Next, visit the “Blue Caves,” named for the mesmerizing blue water within. This distinct hue results from sunlight passing through the seawater and reflecting off the limestone walls, creating a captivating visual display. Spend about 30 minutes swimming and snorkeling here.
• Sfogio Beach - Stop at Sfogio or White Beach, a secluded pebbled beach near the shipwreck, showcasing Zakynthos’s natural beauty. Take a break to swim, soak up the sun, and enjoy the tranquility of this amazing place. Close your eyes and cherish this memory.
• Face Of Poseidon - On the return journey to the small port, marvel at the heart-shaped cave and Poseidon’s Face, a magnificent rock formation resembling the Greek god Poseidon’s face. • Anafonitria - By now, you must be hungry, and what better way to satisfy your appetite than with a traditional Greek lunch at a family-run taverna? Enjoy delicious home-cooked dishes, fresh homegrown vegetables, and homemade wine. Once full, dance to Greek music, including syrtaki, with guidance from your local guide!
• Exo Chora - Exo Hora is a small village known for its ancient olive tree, believed to be over 2,000 years old. It is one of the seven oldest olive trees in the Mediterranean and possibly the world, still producing olives today. Here, sample traditional local products like oil, olives, wine, and liqueurs, as well as organic beauty products, all offered for free by local farmers.
