- Old Olive Tree - The renowned 2,000-year-old olive tree is situated in the village of Exo Chora on Zakynthos Island. It is among the seven oldest olive trees in the Mediterranean and possibly one of the oldest in the world. Although there is no universally accepted scientific method to determine the exact age of olive trees, this ancient tree is estimated to be at least 2,000 years old based on tree ring analysis. Remarkably, it continues to produce olives today. Visitors can also find traditional products from local farmers in the area.
