• Cairo Tower - As requested, the tour guide will pick up the guests from their hotel to begin a special tour of The Cairo Tower (Egyptian Arabic: برج القاهرة, Borg El-Qāhira), a free-standing concrete tower located in Cairo, Egypt. Standing at 187 meters (614 feet), it was the tallest structure in Egypt for 37 years until 1998, when it was surpassed by the Suez Canal overhead powerline crossing. It held the title of the tallest structure in North Africa for 21 years until 1982, when the Nador transmitter in Morocco surpassed it. It was also the tallest structure in Africa for one year until 1962, when the Sentech Tower in South Africa took over.

Recognized as one of Cairo’s prominent modern monuments, and often regarded as Egypt’s second most famous landmark after the Pyramids of Giza, it is situated in the Gezira district on Gezira Island in the River Nile, near downtown Cairo.

After the tour concludes, guests will be transferred back to their hotel.
