Exceptional, highly recommended - Rakib is a phenomenal tour guide and very knowledgeable and well versed about the history of Zanzibar. I enjoyed the walking tour, I didn’t even feel the time, the tour was interesting and he keeps you engaged. He is patient and did not rush through the various sites that we visited. He is a good person too. On our tour an old man listening to him retelling how Tanzania was formed stopped and complimented how he articulated it so well and said he has never heard any other tour guide telling it the way Rakib did. You really are in the best hands booking your tour through him. I ended up booking him for the next day as well where we went to the north of the island to explore other attractions and the beaches of Nungwi and Kendwa. I would highly recommend Rakib as your tour guide / planner when in Zanzibar. You will not be disappointed.

A wonderful guide to Stonetown, a World Heritage Site! - I applied for a Stone Town World Heritage walking tour, but the amazing hospitality of my guide allowed me to spend half a day on the island of Zanzibar that I will never forget. It was a family trip with a 9-year-old boy, and I was able to walk around the city safely without any problems. Some of the most memorable places are the Slave Trade Museum and the open-air cafe we visited for tea time, the last of the tour. The slave trade is still something you should know historically as a "negative world heritage site", and I think it was a good experience for children. The view from the cafe was great, with a beer while looking at the nostalgic streets that might appear in Mission Impossible and other places. Recommended.

Walking tour of Stonetown. - Our tour guide arrived at the hotel on time. After introductions he explained what we would be doing and how long it would take. We set off and , as we were with a local guide, we were not harassed as much as we would have been had we not had him with us. His knowledge of the various stopping points was excellent and interesting. We walked at a reasonable pace without pressure to rush. We had plenty of time at each point of interest to take in the information and take any photos if we wanted to. Rakiv was a very personable and pleasant person. We really enjoyed our tour.
