ARRIVAL TO ZANZIBAR ISLAND

Forodhani Gardens - Upon arrival, our team will be ready to greet you with a private luxury van to transport you to your hotel, where you can unwind and recover from your journey. In the evening, you will be taken to the renowned Forodhani Gardens for a three-hour visit, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and indulge in the rich variety of seafood available. After your visit, the luxury van will return you to your hotel, where you will receive a briefing on the next day’s tour.

Zanzibar Stone Town Tour & Prison Island Tour

Stone Town - After a restful night’s sleep, you will be picked up around 8:30 am to begin your tours. This introductory guided tour of Zanzibar showcases a rich cultural heritage, where Arab, Indian, Persian, and European influences blend with local African traditions. Historic buildings with intricately carved wooden doors, shaded by balconies, loggias, and verandas, line the narrow, winding streets. The tour includes visits to the Town Market, Slave Market, National Museum of Zanzibar, High Court Building, Slave Chambers, Old German Consulate, Africa House (former English Club), Tip-Tip House, Kelele Square, Old British Consulate, Orphanage Home, Old Fort, Forodhani Gardens, House of Wonders, Sultan Palace (now a Museum), Custom House, Old Dispensary, and Old Harbour.

Prison Island - Changuu Private Island - After a brief 5 to 10-minute rest, you will enjoy a boat ride to Prison Island, where you will learn about its history and relax on the pristine, powdery white sand. You will also have the opportunity to swim at the island. Afterward, you will be transported back to your hotel.

OCEAN SAFARI (FULL DAY TOUR)

Fumba - The Ocean Safari is a romantic adventure tour that offers travelers a breathtaking experience of Zanzibar’s cultural tours. You will be taken to the famous fishing village of Fumba, about a 40-minute drive from Stone Town. Upon arrival at Menai Bay, a conservation area benefiting over 3,000 villagers who rely on fishing, you will learn about the environmental preservation project introduced to support fish breeding and increase fish populations.

This tour utilizes a fully insured traditional wooden dhow, powered by both engine and wind, especially during the windy season. Safety equipment and a team of four well-trained crew members are on board. You will be introduced to wonderful snorkeling spots rich in marine sanctuary life, where you can observe various fish species, including those in a protected mangrove lagoon forest. Enjoy swimming at a sandbank while capturing memories on camera.

You will visit Kwale Island, where you can savor a superb Swahili lunch featuring a variety of seafood and Zanzibar tropical fruits, all while being entertained by traditional African dance. This tour lasts 8-9 hours. After the tour, you will be returned to your hotel.

ZANZIBAR SPICE TOUR AND DEPARTURE

Zanzibar Spices and Heritage Centre - After a restful night at the hotel, you will enjoy breakfast before embarking on a spice tour lasting approximately three hours. This guided walking tour takes you through villages and spice plantations, where you can observe spice farm workers climbing tall coconut trees. Our knowledgeable guides provide in-depth information about spices, organically grown herbs, and their uses in traditional dishes and medicine.

You will have the opportunity to see, feel, and taste various plants and barks. You will also be adorned with palm-leaf accessories such as ties, rings, bracelets, and glasses. Taste some of Zanzibar’s exotic fruits and discover rare tropical fruits and plants. The spice farms are the perfect place to purchase fresh spices directly from the source. We recommend preparing to buy gifts for yourself, family, friends, or colleagues.

After the tour, the luxury car will transport you to Zanzibar port or airport for departure. Note: This tour will be scheduled based on your check-in time to ensure you do not miss your flight. If your flight departs in the evening or night, it will be possible to complete this tour.
