Just unforgettable - What a great experience, everything was perfect, from start to finish.
Our guide Jafari francophone was incredible both by his professionalism and his investment in making this safari unforgettable, he speaks very well French and explained everything to us and answered all our questions. Our driver Flansis drove us all the way from the safari, and he went out of his way to make us do all the animals
Again thank you for everything, we highly recommend Jafari Francophone guide and Flanis

Best trip ever - Ellie is a legend - This was a bucket list trip. Our driver Ellie (who actually has literally the longest name ever) and guide was an absolute legend and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our son is 11 and he affectionately referred to him as Simba throughout, which has stuck. He knew everything about every kind of animal, tree, plant and bush and we saw everything we wanted to and more. He hands down made this even better for us, and is an absolute star and credit to his job

- We have just returned from a two day safari to the Nyerere/Selous National Park. We flew in from Zanzibar and was met by our guide Nassiry Mbonde. We were in a vesicle for six people which had plenty of room and comfortable seats, Nassiry told us to help ourselves to the various drinks in the cool box on board.
After a short information/safety talk, Nassiry started our trip…..after a very short time we soon saw many animals, each time Nassiry shared good information about each animal and answered any of our questions with confidence.
During our morning we were so impressed with the amount of animals and tracks Nassiry took us on to find these. Nassiry’s talent of spotting animals was second to none and during the morning most of the ‘big five’ had been spotted!!!!
We stopped late morning for refreshments which was very welcome then began our search again!
After more sightings we stopped near a hippo watering hope to have our lunch which Nassiry took attention to detail on setting a wonderful lunch for our group! The food was delicious and more than we expected from a lunch in the middle of the bush!
After lunch we began our trip again and we thought we couldn’t do better than our morning but Nassiry ensured that the afternoon was just as impressive we are so happy and shocked with the amount of animals we saw within our day!
Nassiry was respectful to the animals keeping a distance but also giving us the best views. He was a talented driver manovering the vehicle on various terrains and always asking the group if they were ok!
We cannot recommend this safari enough we had the most wonderful time and the experience was fantastic from beginning to end.
Nassiry you were fabulous and have helped to make our safari time one we will treasure as a family forever, thank you for being a fantastic guide!!

Unforgettable Safari with the Best Guide – Highly Recommend! - Wow – what an incredible safari experience! This trip exceeded all our expectations, and a huge part of that is thanks to our amazing guide, Nassiry. From the very beginning, he impressed us with his deep knowledge of the wildlife and environment. He was not only incredibly informative, but also kind, patient, and clearly passionate about his work. He really went the extra mile to fulfill our entire animal wish list – and came remarkably close!
We were lucky enough to see so many animals up close:
🦁 Lions, 🦛 Hippos, 🐘 Elephants, 🦒 Giraffes, 🐒 Monkeys, 🦌 Impalas, 🐃 Gnus, 🦴 Antelopes, 🐗 Pumba (yes, the warthog !)
Nassiry really went the extra mile to see 🦓 Zebras and a 🐆 Leopard, but they were hiding too well. But hey – it’s nature!
Every encounter was special, and Nassiry always made sure we had time to watch, learn, and take it all in. You can tell he truly loves the animals and wants visitors to have the best experience possible.
🌟 If you have the option to do at least a two-day safari – do it! Staying at the lodge was the perfect way to unwind after a full day of wildlife watching. The evening buffet was delicious, the atmosphere peaceful, and waking up in the heart of nature was magical. Also, traveling from the east or north of Zanzibar means a very early 4am pickup. Those doing the day trip with a return flight at 4pm looked absolutely exhausted. Staying overnight makes a huge difference – it turns your safari into a proper adventure, not a race against the clock.
This tour is well-organized, immersive, and absolutely worth every minute. If you’re lucky enough to get Nassiry as your guide, you’re in the best hands possible.
Highly recommended!

Incredible experience - Amazing experience, the trip was incredible.
Our guide Ronald and his driver were so fun, helpful and informative. We got to see most animals up close which we didn’t expect at all. We stayed over night at the game reserve, we had a great time there. It was so cosy, and the Masai guided us to our room for the night. Which was a lovely touch. Augustine the supervisor was also super friendly.

Good times in Africa - Our first safari ever! I was really looking forward to it as an authentic African experience in the wilderness. During our first day we arrived by plane in the morning, and we were driving around in Nyerere Park until 4pm in an open jeep (with a roof). Our guide Hamza, and our driver Robert have really made sure that we had an amazing experience. Hamza was really attentive and kind, explained everything and had a great knowledge of the park’s animals and trees. Robert was also very attentive, he would stop for us to take photos and even move the car a bit to have the right photo angle, without even asking for it! We saw most of the animals, impalas, warthogs, giraffes, elephants, zebras, lots or birds, hippos, crocodiles, hienas, and of course the king, the lion. The lions are sleeping during the day, so don’t expect to see them hunting on your safari, for that you would have to go out early or at night. You have to know that this national park, Selous, is a little bit different from what you see on pictures as it is not an area with plains, but rather lots of bushes and vegetation. This supposedly makes it easier to spot many different species during your safari, just don’t expect the same views that you see in catalogues. During the safari our guide and driver would occasionally stop so we could stretch our legs, and there was a longer lunch break with really tasty food and toilet access. We spent the night in Kinga’s lodge, a nice and clean place where the staff is super attentive. There is even a pool, although we didn’t use it. During the night the african wilderness came to us in the form of monkeys jumping on our roof :-) The next day we had a 2-hour boat safari, which was kind if forgetable to be honest (although guides here were also nice and attentive), a lunch and a flight back in the afternoon. Overall we had a really nice time, although half day at the safari would have been more than enough for us. But then I wouldn’t skip the night in the lodge, as it is quite an experience.
