Zanzibar Airport to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Arriving at Seronera Airstrip around 11:00 a.m., the safari guide will be there to welcome guests. A picnic lunch will be ready, and the safari will commence shortly. Around 1:00 p.m., there will be a stop for lunch. The adventure continues with a search for the Serengeti’s big cats and other wildlife. In the evening, guests will return to Misako Luxury Lodge (or a similar lodge, subject to availability) for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Area

Serengeti National Park - The day begins early with a sunrise game drive through the Serengeti, providing an excellent opportunity to see predators in action. As the exploration continues, guests will enjoy a stunning Serengeti sunrise, with the sun illuminating the savannah. After a relaxed breakfast, the journey towards Ngorongoro will proceed. The drive itself is an adventure, with the guide searching for the Big Five, the wildebeest migration, or any other remarkable wildlife sightings. Along the way, a visit to a Maasai boma offers a chance to experience the vibrant Maasai culture—participating in dance, touring an authentic village, and exploring local crafts at the market.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

Ngorongoro Crater - Following breakfast, the journey to Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World, begins. The trip provides a breathtaking panoramic view of this expansive, lush caldera. Renowned for its incredible biodiversity, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts over 120 species of mammals, including the iconic Big Five. It’s an ideal location to spot the endangered black rhinoceros grazing on the plains, as well as large groups of hippos cooling in the water. From an open-top vehicle, guests have the perfect opportunity to observe and photograph some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife. The crater is also home to various predators, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, alongside abundant herds of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and cape buffalos. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the renowned hippo pool before returning to Arusha Airport.
