10/10 🥰 - Honeymoon in Stone Town with Mudikei – Unforgettable! Stone Town was the perfect destination for our honeymoon, offering a mix of romance, history, and vibrant culture. With the exceptional guidance of Mudikei, our experience was elevated to a whole new level. His deep knowledge of the town’s rich history and hidden gems made every moment memorable. We strolled through the charming, narrow streets, explored the historic Sultan’s Palace, and admired the intricate wooden doors that tell the story of Zanzibar’s past. Mudikei’s warm personality and ability to tailor the tour to our interests made us feel completely at ease. He even helped us discover the best local spots for authentic Zanzibari cuisine and arranged a sunset dhow cruise, which was absolutely magical. Stone Town is a must-visit, and Mudikei is the guide who will make your experience extraordinary. Highly recommended for couples and anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure!

Review of guided Stonetown tour - I did a private 2,5 hour tour with Mohammed. He told me about Stonetown's history as we strolled the streets and alleys at a slow pace. At first, I thought 2-3 hours sounded long but it went quickly. I especially enjoyed the Darajani Market where it was nice to have a guide. I'm glad I took the tour. It was interesting to learn about the different beautiful doors.

Amazing experience in Stone Town! - The Stone Town city tour with Muhammed was an incredible experience. Muhammed is a kind, thoughtfull and very professional guide, which I can recommend to absolutely everyone. Before he started the tour he deliberately asked us several questions in order to gain enough information to adjust the tour exactly to our needs and wishes. Experiencing all the different markets (clothing, fish, meat, vegetable, fruit, spices and so on) really was an adventure. We tasted numorous things and above all we learned so much through Muhammeds input. Next up we went roaming the streets of Stone Town where we were amazed by the friendly people, the 'maze like' narrow streets, local music performances and beautiful architecture. Muhammeds cultural and historical knowledge of Stone Town as well as Zanzibar as a whole, made us learn and comprehend to how it became what it is today. After that we visited the museum in which the slave trade era is depicted, painful to watch but very important to reflect upon. Eventually we ended up in Foodhani park for the jump spot but the delicious food market was the icing on the cake! Muhammed really inspired us to dive deeper into the history and the culture of Zanzibar and he gave us very valuable suggestions for books and scholars to read into. I can't thank Muhammed enough for his knowledge and kindness!
