Loved our Souzhou trip with Xin! - My boys and I had an amazing time touring Souzhou with our guide Xin! She not only speaks English fluently but had wonderful knowledge on the historical and cultural context of the different sites we were visiting. Not only did we have our guide Xin but her guide assistant, May, since I was roaming around with two kiddos.
Even though it was one of the hottest days in July, Xin was very attentive and gave the boys and I handheld fans and bought us bubble tea drinks (which the boys really loved) to ensure we stay hydrated.
The trip was well organized with a private driver (nice and cool in the car), a fun bullet train ride, boating on the Grand Canal, a rickshaw ride, visit to the silk museum (which is super interesting), a visit to Yuyuan garden. Hopefully I didn't miss anything! Being in China for the first time and taking the tour was super wonderful to experience. Thanks Xin and May!

A Perfect Day Trip to Suzhou – Great for Families! - We had a fantastic time on this private day trip to Suzhou! Our guide, Caroline, was absolutely wonderful: super organized, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful in navigating both the historic sites and the summer heat. She kept the pace just right for our family and made sure we saw all the highlights without ever feeling rushed.
One unexpected bonus was a visit to a local silk museum, which turned out to be a huge hit with our kids. They were fascinated by the weaving demonstrations and came away with a new appreciation for how silk is made. Lunch was also excellent, fresh, flavorful, and family-friendly.
From start to finish, the day was well-coordinated and stress-free. If you’re traveling with young children and want a mix of culture, beauty, and comfort, this tour is a perfect choice. Highly recommend!

Great tour!! - We had a great day in Suzhou. It is a beautiful city and it is worth a visit 100%.
The canals and the gardens are amazing and very beautiful.

Suzhou was beautiful and... - Suzhou was beautiful and really fun. We got Caroline as our guide and she was very informative, she was also really patient and catered to what we preferred.
Lunch was also top notch and really good.

A five star private day tour of Suzhou with Berlin - Berlin Hong Lan is an excellent and friendly guide more like a friend showing you around her city. My daughter and I booked a private day tour with a flexible itinerary since I wanted to see the Humble Administrators garden rather than the Master of Nets or Lionshead gardens with rickshaw ride and visit to the silk museum offered on the other private tours. Our van was very comfortable with armchair seats and umbrellas. Berlin efficiently got us into the Bullet train where 30 minutes later we went in a similarly comfortable van to old Shantung street. Berlin is an engaging guide telling us interesting snippets about China’s most ancient city. After a brunch of crab noodles and tasty xiao long Bao in Shantung street we boarded a boat ride giving us an interesting perspective of the old houses along the canals. From there we were driven to the Panmen city wall and gate with pagoda a beautiful classic example of Chinese lake pavilions and covered walkways. At the Humble Administrator’s Garden, Berlin showed us the hidden places and facts of Suzhou’s largest garden. Berlin then took us to an excellent restaurant showcasing some tasty dishes of fish, pork belly, stir fried pork mushroom and capsicum, noodles. An excellent finish before taking the bullet train back to Shanghai where the van dropped us back our hotel. Berlin showed us such a great tour of Suzhou and some of the highlights that I would highly recommend her.

Private group tour of Suzhou for eight - Great private tour of Suzhou for all eight of us. Accompanied by Caroline who was fluent in English and knowledgeable about Suzhou. Knew all the most picturesque spots. Itinerary well planned by Alana and communicated consistently prior to initial meetup. Private coach transfers within Suzhou. Highly recommended!

Rainy but enjoyable day in Suzhou - It was a rainy day but my wife and I had a fabulous time in Suzhou. From the prompt and smooth travel to Suzhou and back, to the carefully and aptly curated program, to the very sumptuous lunch, it was a well thought through and excellently executed day trip. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and we learnt a great deal about Suzhou and China too. Our guide Queena was the one who made our highly positive experience possible. She was knowledgeable, helpful, proactive and sincere. Beyond her stories and information sharing at the various sites, she gave us many good suggestions on what more we could do and where to visit in Shanghai. We would definitely travel with her again.
