Zhangjiajie - At 9:00 am, the tour guide will greet you in the lobby of your Zhangjiajie hotel and escort you to Zhangjiajie National Park.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - Featuring breathtaking mountain ranges, deep valleys, mysterious caves, lush greenery, cascading waterfalls, and mist-covered stone pillars, Hunan’s Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is a natural wonderland.

During this full-day tour, the guide will meet you at 9:00 am in your hotel lobby in central Zhangjiajie or Wulingyuan hotel. The tour includes visits to various mountain areas such as Tianzi Mountain, where the world’s longest cable car ride takes you to the mountain’s summit, and the unique platform-shaped Yuanjiajie Mountain.

Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie - The Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area is a haven of natural beauty, where mountains, valleys, forests, caves, lakes, and waterfalls coexist harmoniously. It features over 560 attractions. The uniquely shaped peaks, peculiar stones, hidden valleys, stunning waters, and limestone caves form the ‘Five Wonders’ of Wulingyuan, making it a must-see.

Spanning 690 square kilometers (266 square miles), the Wulingyuan Scenic Area comprises four sections: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, and the newly added Yangjiajie Scenic Area.

Today’s tour will explore the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve.

Tianzi Mountain - After purchasing the main park entrance tickets, take a shuttle bus (20 minutes) to the Tianzi Mountain cable station, where you’ll need to climb 200 steps to reach the station.

Tianzi Mountain Clouds - Following a 20-minute cable car ride, you’ll arrive at the top of Tianzi Mountain. A short shuttle bus ride (5 minutes) will take you to the central area of Tianzi Mountain, offering breathtaking views of peaks rising one after another. Known as ‘the Monarch of the Peak Forest,’ the top of the mountain provides a panoramic view of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Each season offers unique and beautiful scenes. The four wonders include the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine, and the Snow in winter.

BaiLong Elevator - After visiting Yuanjiajie (Avatar Mountain), take a shuttle (15 minutes) to the Bailong Elevator. The Bailong Elevator is truly magnificent, with a total height of 335 meters (1,099 feet), of which 326 meters (1,069 feet) is the running height. 154 meters (505 feet) of the total height is within the mountain wells, while the remaining 172 meters (564 feet) consists of a steel derrick and other components. The elevator features three parallel sightseeing elevators, each accommodating 50 passengers at a speed of 3 m/s (accelerated to 5 m/s since 2013). When all three elevators operate simultaneously, they can transport up to 4,000 passengers per hour.

Golden Whip Brook - Golden Whip Stream (Jinbian Stream) is renowned for its pristine waters, verdant mountains, steep cliffs, and tranquil valley. As a true “paradise” for plants, its pathways are adorned with a variety of flowers, trees, and grasses. It is also a haven for animals. Named after Golden Whip Crag, its landmark spot, the stream runs from Laomo Bay to Shui Rao Si Men (water-surrounded gates). Enjoy a one-hour hike along the Golden Whip Stream, then take a shuttle out of the park and return to the hotel.

Zhangjiajie - At 9:00 am, the tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and transfer you to Zhangjiajie Tianmen Park.

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - Spend 3-4 hours at Tianmen Mountain Park today. You can ascend the hill using the cable car or shuttle bus, depending on traffic.

Tianmen Mountain is known as the “New Legend Of Zhangjiajie.” It is the highest point (1,500m) in Zhangjiajie, where you can walk on thrilling cliff paths and glass walkways, offering a bird’s-eye view of the entire city and beautiful countryside. The landscape here is distinct yet on par with the ZJJ National Park, both offering world-class scenery. It’s a must-visit highlight of the city. Astonishingly, this single mountain holds four World Guinness Records, each leaving a lasting impression on visitors. It’s an incredible experience unlike any other.

The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie - After a 40-minute drive, your local expert guide will lead you on an adventure in the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, renowned among explorers and nature enthusiasts worldwide. It features typical Zhangjiajie landforms, breathtaking cliffs, lush forests, ancient caves, colorful ponds, and a river running through the canyon. Walk on the world’s longest and highest Glass Bridge in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Suspended over a valley, the glass bridge offers a stunning panorama of the entire grand canyon. Enjoy a scenic walk with waterfalls and wonderful views on each side. Standing on it feels like floating in the air.

Yellow Dragon Cave - Next, visit the Yellow Dragon Cave, where you’ll spend 2 hours. During this visit, take a boat (around 10 minutes) along the underground river, but most of the time, you’ll be walking throughout the cave, often going up and down. It is not recommended for senior citizens.

Wulingyuan District - Afterwards, take a private car to Wulingyuan, where you can enjoy lunch before being dropped off at the airport/train station/hotel.
