Bailong Elevator - Yuanjiajie - Tianzi Mountain (L)
Bailong Elevator - In the morning, your guide will meet you at your hotel and accompany you to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Ascend Yuanjiajie Mountain via the Bailong Elevator, a glass elevator integrated into the mountain. At the top, enjoy a 2.5-hour hike to explore the Pillar of the Southern Sky, which inspired the “Hallelujah Mountains” in the movie Avatar.
Tianzi Mountain - Afterwards, head to the Platform of Forgetfulness for stunning views of the peaks, then cross the Bridge under Heaven. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before taking a bus to Tianzi Mountain to visit Imperial Brush, Xihai Stone Forest, and Fairy Lady Presents Flowers. Conclude your day with a Tianzi Cable Car ride back to your Zhangjiajie hotel.
Golden Whip Stream - Huangshizhai (L)
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - Revisit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park to explore Golden Whip Stream (Jinbianxi) in the morning. This picturesque valley offers scenery reminiscent of Avatar. Enjoy a leisurely 2.5-hour hike along the stream, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Later, take a cable car to Huangshi Village, 3,543 feet (1,079 meters) above sea level, the largest platform for viewing the park’s breathtaking scenery. You will be transferred back to your Zhangjiajie hotel afterwards.
Tianmen Mountain - Transfer to Fenghuang (L)
Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - Today, take the world’s longest cable car to the summit of Tianmen Mountain, the highest peak in Zhangjiajie. Experience the Sky Walk, a glass walkway not for the faint-hearted.
Fenghuang County - Then, transfer to Fenghuang, a journey of approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival, relax in the village bars or spend your evening as you wish. (Please arrange your hotel stay in Fenghuang for this night in advance).
Fenghuang - Zhangjiajie Airport (L)
Airport Road - Visit the ancient Phoenix and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in XiangXi Tujia. The Ancient Fenghuang (Phoenix) City is renowned as the “most beautiful village in China,” celebrated for its surrounding mountains, rivers, and historic architecture. Your guide will return you to Zhangjiajie, where you can choose to be dropped off at your hotel, train station, or Zhangjiajie Airport.
