Explore Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - After breakfast, head to the park and visit the Ten Mile Gallery first. Enjoy a mini train ride for sightseeing and take in the breathtaking views on both sides, including the monkey garden and the Three Sisters Peaks. Then, ascend Yuanjiajie via the Bailong Elevator, known as the world’s tallest full-exposure outdoor lift and the tallest double-deck sightseeing elevator. The mountains in Yuanjiajie inspired Hallelujah Mountain in the AVATAR movie. Discover the First Bridge under Heaven, Lover Peaks, and more. Next, take a sightseeing bus to Tianzi Mountain, where you can admire the stunning peaks. The mountain top offers a magnificent and spectacular view of the entire scenic area. Tianzi Mountain is famous for its four wonders: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine, and Snow in winter. Descend the mountain using the Tianzi Cablecar.

Visit Baofeng Lake, Yellow Dragon Cave, and Glass Bridge

Baofeng Lake - Visit Baofeng Lake, a masterpiece of nature and human ingenuity. Situated 85 meters above the ground at an altitude of 585 meters, it has an average depth of 72 meters. The water, sourced from rainfall and springs, is pure and unpolluted, resembling a large crystal among the Baofeng Mountain Range. During the cruise, enjoy authentic songs from the Tujia minority people, showcasing the harmony between humans and nature.

Yellow Dragon Cave - Explore Yellow Dragon Cave, an underground “magical palace” featuring expansive caves, deep underground rivers, hanging waterfalls, and dense stone bamboo shoots, each with its unique style.

Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge - Travel to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon to experience the glass bridge, which stands 984 feet high and 1,411 feet long. Constructed with 1.9-inch-thick glass panels and several glass observatories, it is the longest glass bridge in the world.

Visit Tianmen Mountain and Transfer to Fenghuang

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - After breakfast at the hotel, check out and head to Tianmen Mountain, the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie City. Take the cable car up Tianmen Mountain and walk along the mountain plank road built along the cliffs. Experience the enchanting atmosphere when the mist is heavy. Tianmen Mountain is renowned for Tianmen Cave, known as a “door to heaven” in Chinese, famously glided through by a world-class stuntman in a wingsuit. Enjoy the thrilling Skywalk made of glass and view the 99-Turn Road and 999-Step leading to the gate of Tianmen.

Fenghuang County - After visiting Tianmen Mountain, transfer to Fenghuang Ancient Town, a 3.5-hour journey. Enjoy the romantic night view of Fenghuang, including a boat ride on the Tuojiang River at night.

Explore Fenghuang Ancient Town and Return to Zhangjiajie for Departure

Fenghuang County - Discover Fenghuang Ancient Town, located in the southwest ridge of central China’s Hunan Province. Surrounded by rolling mountains and a smoothly flowing river, the town features flagstone streets, traditional wooden houses on stilts, towers, bridges, and small boats on the river. Popular attractions include the Former Residence of Shengcongwen, Hong Bridge, Wanming Tower, and more. After lunch, return to Zhangjiajie and depart from Zhangjiajie Airport or Train Station.
