Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - After breakfast, head to the park and visit the Ten Mile Gallery first. Enjoy a mini train ride for sightseeing and take in the breathtaking views on both sides, including the monkey garden and the Three Sisters Peaks. Then, ascend Yuanjiajie via the Bailong Elevator, known as the world’s tallest full-exposure outdoor lift and the tallest double-deck sightseeing elevator. The mountains in Yuanjiajie inspired the Hallelujah Mountain in the AVATAR movie. Here, you will also find the aptly named First Bridge under Heaven, Lover Peaks, and more. Next, take a sightseeing bus to Tianzi Mountain, where you can admire the stunning view of the peaks rising one after another. The mountain top offers a magnificent and spectacular view of the entire scenic area. Tianzi Mountain is known for its four wonders: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine, and the Snow in winter. Descend the mountain via the Tianzi Cablecar.
Visit Baofeng Lake, Yellow Dragon Cave, and Glass Bridge
Baofeng Lake - Visit Baofeng Lake, a masterpiece of nature and human ingenuity. It is 85 meters above the ground and reaches an altitude of 585 meters, with an average depth of 72 meters. The water is sourced from rainfall and springs, remaining pure like a large crystal among the Baofeng Mountain Range. During the cruise, enjoy authentic songs from the Tujia minority people, experiencing the harmony and peace between humans and nature.
Yellow Dragon Cave - Explore Yellow Dragon Cave, an underground “magical palace” featuring expansive caves, deep and secluded underground rivers, hanging waterfalls, and dense stone bamboo shoots, each showcasing its unique style.
Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge - Travel to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon to experience the glass bridge, which stands 984 feet high and 1,411 feet long. Constructed with 1.9-inch-thick glass panels and several glass observatories at various sections, it is the longest glass bridge in the world.
Visit Tianmen Mountain and Transfer to Fenghuang
Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - In the morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then check out and depart for Tianmen Mountain, the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie City. Take the world’s longest cable car (about 7.5 kilometers long) up Tianmen Mountain, the only way to reach the summit.
