• Tianzi Mountain - The guide and driver will meet the operator at the hotel lobby in the morning. A private car will transfer the operator to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The operator will take a cable car to visit Tianzi Mountain, known as “the Monarch of the Peak Forest.” The Pine trees, Yu Bi (imperial brushes) Peaks, Xihai Stone Forest, and other breathtaking views and scenery await. Afterward, a shuttle bus ride of 5 minutes will take the operator to the Nod-to-the-General Platform (Dian Jiang Tai 点将台), located in a gorge filled with curling clouds and numerous tall rock pillars of various shapes. The tallest pillar, situated in the center, is called the “emperor.” In front of it stands the “herald,” reading an imperial edict to the “soldiers.” The two “prime ministers” are “bending down” and positioned on the left and right. It is said that the Emperor of Xiang once reviewed his troops there.

• 空中田园 - Next, a shuttle bus will take the operator to Laowu Chang (老屋场), an undeveloped part of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, located between Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain. It is best accessed by a locally hired van from Yuanjiajie, as it is off the usual travel route. The scenery in the area is incredibly beautiful and awe-inspiring. The sunrise in Laowuchang is considered a must-capture scene by photographers visiting Zhangjiajie.

The operator can also visit the ‘Sky Field Garden’ (Kongzhong Tianyuan 空中田园), a small area of paddy fields seemingly hanging on an outcrop surrounded by Zhangjiajie’s typical peaks. These paddy fields are cultivated by local ethnic people.

• Yuanjiajie - The operator will embark on a 1.5-hour hike to discover the Pillar of the Southern Sky, which served as inspiration for the famous “Hallelujah Mountains” seen in the blockbuster movie, Avatar. The operator will proceed to the Platform of Forgetfulness to enjoy the nearby peak views and then walk across the NO. 1 Bridge under Heaven.

• BaiLong Elevator - Located in the Wulingyuan scenic area in Zhangjiajie, the Bailong Elevator is a magnificent sightseeing elevator and a world heritage site in China. The running height is 326 meters (1069 feet), with 154 meters (505 feet) of the total height situated in the mountain wells, while the remaining 172 meters (564 feet) is composed of a steel derrick and other components.
