Arrival in Zhangjiajie

Airport Road - Upon arrival in Zhangjiajie, guests will be warmly welcomed and transferred from the airport to their pre-booked hotel. The remainder of the day is free for personal exploration of the city.

Golden Whip Brook - Baofeng Lake (L)

Golden Whip Brook - Spend an entire day immersed in the beauty of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Embark on a 2-hour hike to the enchanting Golden Whip Brook, the largest freshwater stream in the park, situated on the eastern side and named after the towering 1,247 feet (380 meters) Golden Whip Rock, stretching nearly 5 miles (7.5 kilometers).

Baofeng Lake - Afterwards, savor delicious authentic Chinese cuisine at a local restaurant before heading to the day’s final attraction, Baofeng Lake. Created after a dam was constructed in the 1970s, this man-made lake is surrounded by lush greenery and stone peaks, drawing visitors from around the globe.

Yuanjiajie Mountain - Bailong Elevator - Tianzi Mountain - Ten-mile Natural Gallery (L)

BaiLong Elevator - Today’s adventure offers a unique experience at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Ascend to Yuanjiajie Mountain via the 1,070 feet (330 meter) tall Bailong Elevator. Spend approximately 2 hours exploring the Pillar of the Southern Sky, which inspired the “Avatar Hallelujah Mountain” backdrop in the movie Avatar.

Tianzi Mountain - Continue to the Platform of Forgetfulness to admire the stunning sandstone peak landscape before strolling across the remarkable “Bridge Under Heaven.” Lunch will be served at a nearby Chinese restaurant. After the meal, take an eco-bus to Tianzi Mountain for a cable car ride down to the magical Ten-mile Natural Gallery, where you can enjoy distant views of the Bailong Elevator, Tianzi Mountain, and Ten-mile Natural Gallery.

Departing Zhangjiajie

Airport Road - Guests will be transported from their hotel back to the airport as per their itinerary.
