Zhangjiajie - Upon arrival at Zhangjiajie Airport or Railway Station, guests will be warmly welcomed by a professional guide and driver, who will then transfer them to their hotel for a restful break. There are no planned activities today, allowing time to unwind from the journey. It is recommended to stay in Wulingyuan, near the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, for easy access to attractions. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Golden Whip Brook - Enjoy a leisurely walk along the stunning Golden Whip Stream Canyon, celebrated as one of Zhangjiajie’s top ten scenic wonders. Flowing from west to east through the National Forest Park, the stream is bordered by impressive cliffs and lush forests, creating a tranquil and picturesque setting. Playful wildlife, ancient and exotic trees, and leisurely swimming fish enhance the peaceful atmosphere. Golden Whip Stream is renowned for its poetic saying: “three steps, one view; ten steps, one peak,” with over 3,000 unique peaks and 800 winding streams. BaiLong Elevator - This is the world’s tallest outdoor elevator, ascending 335 meters (1,099 feet) up a cliff face. Comprising a 154-meter (505-foot) shaft inside the mountain and a 172-meter (564-foot) glass lift on the outside, it offers breathtaking views during the ascent. Listed in the Guinness World Records™, this engineering marvel connects key sites like Yuanjiajie, Golden Whip Stream, and the First Bridge under Heaven—making it easier than ever to explore Zhangjiajie’s stunning landscapes.

Yuanjiajie - Situated in the northern area of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, it is famed as the filming inspiration for the floating “Hallelujah Mountains” in James Cameron’s Avatar. This enchanting landscape features towering sandstone pillars, lush vegetation, and dramatic cliffs that appear to rise directly from the earth. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views from various observation decks, including the renowned “First Bridge Under Heaven.” As one of the park’s most iconic areas, Yuanjiajie offers an unforgettable experience that blends cinematic wonder with natural beauty.

Baofeng Lake - Option 1

A World Natural Heritage Site — Baofeng Lake is known as a “classic among the world’s lakes,” located at the heart of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie. With a depth of 72 meters (236 feet) and a length of 2.5 kilometers (1.55 miles), it is celebrated for its serene waters, picturesque mountain reflections, and mysterious caves, making it a prime example of Wulingyuan’s water scenery. The famous TV series Journey to the West filmed its Flower and Fruit Mountain Waterfall scene here at the “Flying Waterfall of Strange Peaks.” While cruising on the lake, you can also admire unique sights on the central island, such as “Fairy Looking into the Mirror,” “High Gorge and Flat Lake,” and “Golden Toad Holding the Moon.”

Yellow Dragon Cave - Option 2

This is one of China’s most impressive karst caves, located in the heart of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie. Known as the “magical underground palace,” the cave stretches for over 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) and spans multiple levels, featuring vast chambers, deep underground rivers, majestic waterfalls, and countless stalactites and stalagmites of various shapes and sizes. The cave consists of four levels, thirteen chambers, three underground waterfalls, two rivers, and hundreds of unique rock formations illuminated with vibrant lighting, creating a dreamlike world beneath the earth. Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - Tianmen Mountain, known as the “Heavenly Gate Mountain,” is Zhangjiajie’s highest peak and offers breathtaking views from Yunyue Fairy Peak. Zhangjiajie Junsheng Painting Institute - A unique art gallery dedicated to showcasing sandstone paintings. Founded in 2001 by Mr. Li Junsheng, a renowned Tujia ethnic minority artist and the pioneer of sandstone painting, this gallery has become a cultural landmark. In 2004, it was officially rated as a national AA-level tourist attraction by the China National Tourism Scenic Area Quality Rating Committee. The institute integrates the research, development, creation, and sale of sandstone art, while also exhibiting traditional ethnic handicrafts, making it a one-of-a-kind private art museum in Zhangjiajie.
