Zhangjiajie - Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Upon arrival at the airport or train station, a representative will greet you and provide a private, one-car-per-group transfer to your hotel in the city center. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and explore at your leisure. Your guide will reach out this evening to confirm the pick-up time for tomorrow’s adventure.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Huangshizhai, Golden Whip Stream, Yangjiajie & Tianzi Mountain)

Huangshi Village - Ascend (cable car at your own expense) for a panoramic view of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The saying goes, “If you don’t go up Huangshizhai, you haven’t been to Zhangjiajie.”

Golden Whip Brook - Enjoy a leisurely stroll along this beautiful stream, surrounded by lush vegetation and towering peaks. Keep an eye out for the playful wild macaques!

Yangjiajie - Known for its natural “Great Wall” – a series of towering rock formations resembling a fortified city wall. You can also experience the Yangjiajie Cableway (at your own expense).

Tianzi Mountain - Referred to as the “Monarch of the Peaks,” this area offers breathtaking views of thousands of stone peaks. Conclude your day here and check into your hotel in Tianzi Town, ideally located for sunrise viewing the next morning.

Yuanjiace (Avatar Mountains), Bailong Elevator, Ten-Mile Gallery & Grand Canyon Glass Bridge

Tianzi Mountain - This tour includes a complimentary visit to the Wuling Sunrise Viewing Platform (a designated sunrise photography spot in Zhangjiajie by the China Nature Photography Association). Please note: Viewing the sunrise requires an early morning departure by vehicle. Participation is voluntary and based on your preference. Sunrise viewing is subject to weather conditions on the day.

Yuanjiajie - Re-enter the park to explore the most famous area, the inspiration for the floating Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar. See the iconic “First Bridge Under Heaven.”

Bailong Elevator - Descend from the mountain in the world’s tallest outdoor elevator (VIP access included), offering spectacular views.

十里画廊 - Take a leisurely walk (or an optional mini-train ride at your own expense) through this picturesque valley, spotting rock formations that resemble various figures.

Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge - Experience the thrill of walking on the transparent “Bridge of Clouds and Sky” (VIP access included), suspended 300 meters above the ground.

Charming Xiangxi Theatre - After dinner, your guide will recommend the spectacular “Charming Xiangxi” cultural show (viewing time approximately 90 minutes). Immerse yourself in the mysterious millennia-old shamanistic culture of Western Hunan, explore the eerie ancient Chu customs depicted in Qu Yuan’s writings, and witness the legendary Xiangxi “transporting the dead” ritual—all in one breathtaking audio-visual feast. The show masterfully blends modern stage artistry with unique local ethnic traditions and is the original inspiration for the “Chasing Love” performance featured on CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala. Tianmen Mountain → Fenghuang Ancient Town

天门山国家森林公园 - Take the longest passenger cableway in the world (7.45 km) up to Tianmen Mountain. Walk the thrilling cliff-hanging Glass Skywalk and take the shuttle bus down the winding “Heaven-Linking Avenue” with 99 bends. Climb up to the magnificent Tianmen Cave.

Phoenix Ancient Town - After lunch, enjoy a scenic drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town. Upon arrival, experience the enchanting atmosphere of the ancient town with a special night cruise on the Tuo River (VIP access included). See the stilted houses lit up against the night sky. After the boat cruise, you’ll have free time to explore the ancient town at your own pace. Visit the lively bar street to savor drinks and delicious food while soaking in the town’s unique ambiance, or wander through the alleys to discover local culinary delights.
