Cloudy Mountain Tops - Emilia and Daniel were both amazing as our tour guides. Emilia handled the first day, and Daniel the second. Their english was great and they gave a lot of info about the culture and the mountains. We were nicely guided from mountain to mountain. It really helped see everything!

Amazong 2 day tour - Great experience with the 2 day tour. Our tour guide Emilia was great, she followed the agenda well, and also brought us to eat some really good local foods. She is very friendly and social, makings sure that each member of our group was having a great time. I highly recommend here and this agency for anyone looking to visit Zhangjiajie.

Do not hesitate, go for it!!! - The day at Mount Tianmen and the Glass Bridge was exceptional. The second day seemed superfluous. The same activity without a guide would have been even more complicated during Golden Week.

Phoenix incredible! - Phoenix was absolutely amazing! She’s one of the best guides we’ve ever had — kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly fun to be around. We spent two days with her exploring the parks, and she made everything so easy and enjoyable. Thanks to her, we even managed to skip the lines and make the most of our time! Phoenix explains everything so clearly, adding fascinating details that make every stop come alive. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious — she made the whole experience unforgettable. I truly hope to see her again someday; anyone who gets Phoenix as their guide is very, very lucky! Luca

2 day tour in Zhangjiajie, Hunan with tour guide Weifang - “We enjoyed greatly this 2-day mini tour. It met our objectives: seeing the best of Zhangjiajie mountains within 2 days. We thank Sunny for organising this tour for our group, after patiently answering our many questions timely and reassuringly. Weifang (Ivy) was the perfect guide for us: knowledgeable about the subjects of the tour, experienced, kind, and patient. She’s a great communicator: a fluent speaker of the English language and an attentive listener as well. She ticked all the boxes. And she was great fun to be part of our group. By the way, she has a way of explaining the geography of Zhangjiajie and different parts of China, an innovative way which is both effective and endearing. Thank you Weifang for the laughter amid the hardship ( climbing up and descending down steps, navigating around crowds, etc). In conclusion, I have to say, with a great deal of gratitude, that in Zhangjiajie, as in other cities of China which we visited during this trip, we had been the beneficiaries from “the kindness of strangers”; and there were many of them providing assistance with language, street directory, railway station check-in, menu adjustments (no hot spices, please!) … We thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts. With that, we say “Au revoir”!

Excellent guide, well timed and a good, long day out! - I really enjoyed my first day on this trip, despite it being at the height of China's "golden week", a period where a significant chunk of China's 1.2 billion strong population are all on holiday at the same time! Unsurprisingly it was very busy, which is where our guide Phoenix really came into her own. She is bright, bubbly and knows exactly when to go to each part of the park; it was a real relief to see we'd avoided the massive queues after we took the zipline and slide down the canyon, thanks to Phoenixs guidance. Despite the crowds in some areas we never felt rushed and got to see everything, which was very impressive given how much there is to see in one day. We did leave our hotels earlier than the itinerary suggests, but again this was critical given how busy it was. Everything was well planned out and I'm very happy with the trip.

Expensive but worth it! - Getting the downside out the way first, this is expensive relative to other Chinese tours. Zhangjiajie is generally expensive though and especially so when I went, during national holiday week. Plenty of upsides though. First of all you do get all the main sites covered and have plenty of time to see everything you'd likely want to see. The guides were excellent, Phoenix and Tracey were very savvy and knew where to go and, crucially in a location that is absolutely heaving with tourists at certain points during the day, when to go. On the first day it was a relief seeing the queues we could have been in had we not taken Phoenix's advice to quickly skip the glass bridge initially to go down the canyon zip line and then return to the bridge later, where we had little crowding and plenty of time to see the bridge. Had I gone on my own there's no way I'd have gotten out of there before the end of the day! Transport was spot on, hotel pick-up and drop-offs very timely. Thoroughly enjoyed my time.
