Golden Whip Brook - The tour guide and driver will collect guests from their hotel and enter Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Disembark the shuttle bus at Shuiraosimen Station to visit Golden Whip Brook. This stream meanders through hills and valleys, named after the Golden Whip Rock it passes. Enjoy the gentle sounds of the stream, stroll through the valley, and pause to watch fish swim in the clear waters. Be ready to meet some wild monkeys. BaiLong Elevator - As the world’s fastest and tallest outdoor elevator, the 326-meter-tall glass Bailong Elevator is built onto a cliff in the national park, offering breathtaking views of the karst formations. It takes just 88 seconds to reach Yuanjiajie.
Yuanjiajie - Yuanjiajie unveils the mysterious “Pandora World.” During the thrilling hike, prepare to admire the South Sky Pillar, approximately 150 meters high, the true inspiration for Avatar’s Hallelujah Mountain. Enjoy the best views at Enchanting Platform, with numerous beautiful stone peaks resembling nutritious bamboo shoots rising from the ground.
Tianzi Mountain - Take the shuttle bus to explore Tianzi Mountain. Walk to Helong Park, the best vantage point to closely admire the incredible and magnificent view of unique stone peaks standing in succession. The most captivating photos of Tianzi Mountain’s four wonders are taken here, including mists and clouds, moonlight, sun rays, and winter snow. The top attraction on Tianzi Mountain is Xihai Peak Forest. Afterward, take the scenic Tianzi Cablecar down, with groups of rock formations passing by outside the glass window.
Tianmen Mountain Day Tour
Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - The tour guide and driver will pick guests up from their hotel lobby and transfer them to Mt. Tianmen Cable Car Station for a 28-minute cable car ride to explore Tianmen Mountain.
Tianmen Mountain: As the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie, with an altitude of 4,981 feet/1,518 meters, Tianmen Mountain is considered the soul of Zhangjiajie. Upon reaching the summit, enjoy a walk on the Glass Skywalk, Guigu Cliff Road, and more. Then, take the escalator from the peak down to Tianmen Cave to witness the giant hole in the mountain. Formed by natural pressure and collapse, it measures 131.5 meters high, 57 meters wide, and 60 meters deep, making it a rare global wonder. Next, descend the super steep 999 steps with a maximum inclination of 45°.
