Arrival in Zhangjiajie: Hotel Transfer

Zhangjiajie - Upon arrival at Zhangjiajie Airport or Train Station, your guide and driver will greet you and escort you to your pre-booked hotel in Zhangjiajie City. Your guide will also assist with the check-in process. Enjoy the remainder of your day at your leisure. (Please provide your hotel name and address in advance.)

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Tianzi Mountain-Suspending Terrace-Yangjiajie)

Tianzi Mountain - In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. You’ll be transferred by private car to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Take the Tianzi cableway to ascend Tianzi Mountain, known as the ‘Monarch of the Peak Forest’. Marvel at the pine trees, Yu Bi (imperial brushes) Peaks, Xihai Stone Forest, and other breathtaking views.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - Next, explore the ‘Sky Field Garden’ (Kongzhong Tianyuan 空中田园), a hidden gem within the park. This small area of paddy fields appears to hang on an outcrop surrounded by Zhangjiajie’s iconic peaks and is cultivated by local ethnic communities.

Yangjiajie - Afterwards, take the park shuttle bus to Yangjiajie for a tour. Hike to the natural Great Wall and Wulong Village, once home to bandits. (Guests can choose to hike based on their physical condition.)

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Yuanjiajie-Yangjiajie-Golden Whip Stream)

Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie - (Early in the morning, weather permitting, there is an opportunity to watch the sunrise.) Take the shuttle bus to the Yuanjiajie area for a first glimpse of the sandstone peak forest, the main backdrop for the movie Avatar. Discover the Southern Sky Column, which inspired the “Hallelujah Mountains” in the blockbuster film.

Golden Whip Brook - Following this, enjoy a leisurely walk along the beautiful Golden Whip Stream, listening to the sounds of nature along the flat trail by the stream. This enchanting valley is reminiscent of Pandora’s wonderland from Avatar. Enjoy a relaxing 2.5-hour hike along the stream, surrounded by stunning mountains, fresh air, and pure water.

Tianmen Mountain-Sandstone Painting Gallery-Airport Drop-off

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - After checking out in the morning, transfer to Tianmen Mountain in the city center. Tianmen Mountain, the highest in Zhangjiajie, features the world’s longest cable car. Enjoy a half-hour ride on this 7.5 km cable car to the top of Tianmen Mountain. Experience a thrilling walk along the glass plank road against the cliff. The mountain’s natural karst cave, the highest of its kind, is a unique sight and a symbol of the profound heaven culture of Fairy. The mountain is home to graceful trees, karst hillocks, and medicinal herbs.

Zhangjiajie Junsheng Painting Institute - Finally, transfer to the Junsheng Sandstone Painting Gallery to appreciate this unique art form. You will be dropped off at the airport according to your departure schedule.
