A Journey Through Time: Jiufen’s Nostalgic Charm

As I embarked on my journey to Jiufen, I was immediately struck by the town’s nostalgic charm. Nestled in the hills of Taiwan, Jiufen is a place where time seems to stand still. The cobblestone streets and traditional architecture transport you back to the days of gold mining during the Japanese colonial era. The highlight of my visit to Jiufen was undoubtedly the iconic Tea House. Sipping on a cup of Taiwanese tea while overlooking the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains was a moment of pure serenity. Shifen: A Place of Wishes and Waterfalls

Our next stop was Shifen, a quaint town known for its old street and the famous sky lantern activity. Shifen is also home to the stunning Shifen Waterfall, often referred to as the “Little Niagara of Taiwan.” The powerful flow of the waterfall, combined with the mist that creates beautiful rainbows on sunny days, adds a magical touch to the experience. A Day to Remember with Steve

Our guide, Steve, was an integral part of the experience. His quirky and amicable manner put everyone at ease, and his passion for his job was evident in every aspect of the tour.
