Can’t miss class. Wayne is the man! - An excellent experience cooking with Wayne. The class starts with a tour of a food market, including samples of local fruits and teas. Wayne is a great instructor and taught us some new techniques to use outside of Taiwanese cuisine as well. 10/10!

Experience you wouldn't want to miss when you're in Taipei - We enjoyed our time learning about Taiwanese food! And even learnt tips in cooking that I can definitely apply to all types of cooking! I particularly enjoyed going a to a traditional market too!

Friendly and fabulous - Super informative and friendly tour leader. We learned so much in the market walk and tried different foods. The classroom was beautiful, everything was ready for us and the food we prepared was delicious.

Fun cooking class with delicious and not-too-complicated recipes - This was a great cooking class. The recipes were not difficult to do, and the food was representative of Taiwanese cuisine. Wayne was an excellent guide at the market introducing us to a wide array or local produce. Everything for the class was well organized, and he was a patient and good teacher. And best of all was eating the food at the end. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

Great food great experience - Wayne was a superb guide touring us around the local market and sharing a lot of local knowledge. We then had a fun time learning to cook local cuisine at his homely studio. Wayne was patient, kind, funny, the best Taiwan has to offer. Highly recommended!

Engaging and delicious! - Wayne is an excellent guide and instructor! The tour through the market gave us an intro into the fresh ingredients found in a Taiwanese open market. Our foray into making beef noodle soup, soup dumplings, and boba tea kept all participants engaged and increasingly hungry for the final product. Lastly, our lunch did not disappoint—delicious and rewarding!

Day Market and cooking local dishes - My friends and I had a wonderful time learning about the different foods in the market and then cooking and eating our own lunch.
We had the opportunity to try different teas and pick different fruit we have never tasted before.
We received tips on cooking and recipes that we could go back and make for friends I highly recommend taking this personal tour.

Great food, but 14 people instead of 6 maximum - The food was among the best of any cooking class, and I learned a few good cooking tips. It was listed on Tripadvisor as having a maximum of six participants, and lasting 3-1/2 hours to end at 1:00pm. Our market tour and class added a separate boba class for a combined total of 14 people. We also wound up waiting for people in the other class who were late. I would not have signed up for such a large class. Our guide was great, but his attention was split between the two classes of so many people, and it was hard to get close enough to hear during the market tour. By having everyone make boba, the resulting time constraint meant our instructor had to rush to make sure we could have a few bites before we had to leave for the next tour we had scheduled at 1:30pm, but we weren’t able to have the full meal we expected. If the class size were as advertised, and we were able to enjoy our meal, it would be a five-star experience.
