Scenic views, amazing service - Very beautiful views, delicious food, marvellous scenic stops for photos, and very friendly people! Highly recommend. Going in April is perfect as it’s already sunny, but not too hot - perfect temperature with some mild wind.

Ghassen is the best! - Ghassen is hands down one if the best tour guides Tunisia has to offer. He truly understood what I wanted to experience and he leaned in to highlights that made me feel heard. Traveling solo as a female, you want to feel safe and respected. He excelled in securing my safety and communicating with me when others would speak to him in one of the six languages he speaks. Best part of my tour was stopping to select, cook, and eat lamb authentically as families traveling for Eid do. I am so happy I visited the Amizij (Berber) Valleys and Hammemet. This trip was worth embracing and diving deeper into the culture of Tunisia. Also, I left my camera in his car and not only did he get it back to me the next morning, he also assisted me in transportation to the airport. His choice of driver was fantastic (shout out to Dad)!

Such an amazing tour. - This was my favorite part of my trip to Tunisia. The Berber village was so beautiful and the surrounding landscape was breathtaking. The Roman temple and aqueducts leading up to it were so amazing. Now, I had the same tour guide for 3 day trips so this next part will be the same on two other reviews. Ghassen was easily one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. He was always on time and very passionate about Tunisia. He knows the history, culture, science, and more about everything. The whole drive he is telling you about the regions we drove through, the agriculture, the industry, the people, and anything else you can think of. If you book with this company, ask for Ghassen.

Village of TAKROUNA to discover without hesitation - Beautiful Berber village with few inhabitants. With LAZHAR (taxi of Hammamet 98.904.485) I asked him to discover this village of deep Tunisia that the inhabitants deserted. Breathtaking views.... beware it climbs... I was able to meet AMIDA, an extraordinary and adorable woman who lives there in a rudimentary way. She invited me to drink tea and offered me the bread she bakes in an oven. A very good moment of sharing simple and authentic. Do not hesitate to meet her, she can also prepare you a couscous if you call her at 25.825.125; she deserves to be known..

Excellent guide, interesting and knowledge - Wonderful trip to the heart of Berber territory. Ghassan was an amazing guide - patient and knowledgeable with a genuine desire to share his love of the amazing history and culture of Tunisia. Sharing bread and harissa by the kiln was a special memory.

To have! - Splendid abandoned Berber village. Nice view. It offers a panoramic view of another village on one side, of the mountain on the other.

Mediocre Tour of Berber Villages in the Heart of Tunisia - For the rather extraordinary price that I paid, the tour was mediocre in my estimation. My driver and guide, Helmi, was amicable, funny, and spoke good English. I think he did his best to give me information about the Berber tribes within the bounds of his knowledge. He also took me to two places that were not on the tour because the tour was ill-planned by the company that Viator contracts with to organize the tours. This said, the tour needs to be WAY more dynamic and interactive for the price. For instance, I met not one Berber person really, other than the ones I made contact with myself: the doughnut lady, the teens playing traditional Berber music. Driving someone around and stopping places in a random sort of order is not a historical tour; it is a taxi ride to villages. I would suggest to the company to reformulate the tour so that it is stimulating to the people who pay for it.

Hot and Irritable - The driver tour guide was prompt. I enjoyed visiting the Berber villages and the experience. The Berber people were hospitable and lovely. The driver tour guide could have provided more backstory/culture and history. It would have been appreciated. Extremely hot day, The driver tour guide did not offer water and only asked me about my comfort and the lack of air conditioning in the car once. Both windows were rolled down in the front for cross ventilation. Glad I had a hat. The driver tour guide left me unattended in the hot car for 5 minutes while he did an errand.
