Awesome small group tour! - Carlos was our wonderful driver/guide for the day. We started a little confused at our hotel pickup because we were looking for a white van and he arrived in a midnight blue van. They apparently had 2 vans going that weren’t completely full so they organized the vehicles for everyone’s comfort. There were 7 passenger seats and we had 6 so there was room to spread out a little which was very nice. The pickup was on time and Carlos pointed out things about the city on our way out as well as interesting information about our destinations. First stop was a moderately easy hike to a gorgeous waterfall…some up and down on a groomed trail with some steps, needing to be a bit more cautious due to the misty weather but not too bad. We were not rushed at all. Highly recommend wearing hiking boots or nicely treaded trainers, and we had our collapsible poles which helped but not totally necessary as there are rails at the stairs. We spent time enjoying the falls and walking behind them, and taking in the views of a historic hotel and lake. Next stop was Lauterbrunnen….a place straight out of a fairytale that was inspiration for Rivendell’s depiction in the LOTR movies. In the spring there are more waterfalls but even in late September so many were flowing! The sun was trying to break through the clouds much to our relief but the weather added to the drama in a good way. We didn’t spend a lot of time there, saving it for Grindelwald. The drive was beautiful and we had a couple hours to roam town and shop and have lunch…which we did, while soaking in the those massive mountain views. A cable gondola ride was also an option but the clouds were hanging around that area so wouldn’t have been worth it. It was sunny and beautiful otherwise. Carlos made a few suggestions for lunch at spots where he’d eaten before and we chose Base Camp and really enjoyed the meat and cheese platter with their homemade iced tea. We enjoyed walking through town, accompanied by the music of cowbells from a small herd, taking in the beautiful scenery. We stopped at a small village on our way back that had the most charming street that had been voted as most beautiful…and it was. Every traditional home was decked with window boxes full of flowers. Add to that it being on the shores of a beautiful glacial blue lake and it made it hard to leave. All in all, we had a wonderful day and highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely amazing/best day ever! - It was an amazing trip!! Nice tour to do if you want to get a quick day in to take in all the beautiful views! Great weather, the tour guide was very nice. The group of people we were with were also amazing people. It was also Best day of my life because my boyfriend proposed to me at one of stops!!! truly amazing and breathtaking views, pictures do not do any justice!

Great day in Grendelwald - Enjoyed our full day tour. As always, it would have been nice to spend more time in Grendelwald. You really need several days to enjoy the area.

Excellent trip to maximize a short tip to CH - thank you! - Carlos was brilliant. Really interesting trip - we packed in a lot which was a perfect way to see more of CH in a day than I could have alone. Carlos also knows so much - really interesting tour. Beautiful spots. 5 stars!

No brainer to the Eiger! - Virtually private with only 1 other couple picked right up from our hotel. A wonderful hike to an amazing waterfall. Beautiful scenery along the way. Anoura our guide had umbrellas for the am rain and was very accommodating with even a treat bag with water bottles. We had a wonderful adventure and got many great pictures. He was very knowledgeable of historical facts and fun facts. Highly recommend!

Wonderful fall visit to the Alos - Our visit to Grindelwald with Michael was a wonderful day and an amazing experience. As a tour guide, Michael was informative, knowledgeable and allowed us the opportunity to make the day our own. I recommend this tour, especially the visit inside Trumbelach Falls company to anyone I know traveling to Zurich. This tour was the highlight of our time in Zurich.

Enjoyable tour - We hit all the spots you would want to visit and then some more. Great guide, kept out small group on track without ever feeling rushed.

Beautiful towns but this was not a tour but just a chauffeured ride. Not our favorite tour sadly. - This was not a guided tour, it was a chauffeur ride with 3 stops. There was no explicit action about what we were stopping to see, the history or significance, she never even told us where we were headed next or any highlights of the location. At each stop were let out to walk about on our own then rushed back to the van to move on. For a fraction of the cost we could have taken the trains into the small towns and explored on our own. The vehicle was clean and nice and the guide was friendly when we would ask her something but she was not interactive at all. The cable cars were at our own discretion and choice however we were told by travelers on other tours that they had received 50% odd vouchers. Our guide never told us anything about how to take advantage of that. We’re only given an hour for the whole cable ride so not even enough time to do the extra stuff at the top like bikes as other tours did.
