JWM at Zurich, Switzerland. - Beautiful falls, somewhat similar to Niagara Falls in Buffalo, NY. Nature trails all around the falls, which were spectacular. I would highly recommend this tour. Also, I do not recommend using Booking.com. They refuse to refund my payment for a rental car, which we did not get. I paid Booking.com over 1 month in advance, and when I arrived to the airport, no cars were available.

Spectacular - Really spectacular. We stayed there on August 8th on a nice warm day and it was beautiful and relaxing. Recommended to everyone. A bit expensive for us Italians both the food and the parking, but it's really worth it. If you're in Switzerland, don't miss the most European waterfalls

Wonderful!!!! - We were at the falls in August, we made the boat ride with the blue line cost 7 fr, it lasted about 15 minutes, takes you twice right under the falls, we get wet a little better to bring a windbreaker. Really beautiful, the water flow is impressive, we had a lot of fun, wonderful day, definitely to be redone. Ps. There is convenient free parking 5 minutes from the falls and a self service restaurant near the ticket offices, better get them online. I recommend the visit in the morning, in the afternoon there are queues at the checkout.

walking around switzerland - The Rhine Falls (Rheinfall in German), also known as Schaffhausen Falls, are the largest waterfalls in Europe. They are located in the upper part of the River Rhine, a short distance from the city of Schaffhausen in the north of Switzerland, near the German border.

Imposing - Already imposing what comes down there on water and beautiful it is here too.Who wants can get out with a boat up to the waterfall or in the middle and run up a platform, you stand in the middle. Who offers what I don't know so look good. From the parking lot you can walk up to the castle who wants, parking only with Swiss francs or one-to-one with euros, fitting change pay no euro but Swiss francs!!!

Imposing - Impressive waterfalls located near Neuhausen am Rheinfall, seem to be the largest in Europe with a width of more than one hundred meters for a height of about 23. You can park your car comfortably in the reserved spaces just before the entrance (ticket costs 5 euros) which can be reached on foot in a few minutes. A staircase leads to the water level from where you can take paid boats; there are different combinations of tours with different prices. Otherwise you can get around the falls by crossing the pedestrian bridge and just walking around. Nearby there are a couple of restaurants not exactly cheap. It is advisable to visit them in summer, when the water flow is at its maximum, possibly on a weekday. The surrounding landscape is unfortunately not the best due to the numerous palaces built in the nearby town.

The force of nature seen up close - The visit is worth it. The force of nature is shocking. You can see it for free or they pay a ticket of 5 euros but worth it. We went by car and followed the signs on the road to access... which take you to the entrance for tourists. On that shore you have parking and an office to buy tickets. The ticket allows you to see the waterfall from the most striking part and almost touch the waterfall. It's worth it. If you don't want to pay... you can see them anyway and cross the walkway to the other side. There are also small boats that bring you closer to the waterfall. They have 3 itineraries and depending on the time and how close you are to the waterfall, different rates. Very tourist oriented although then go hiking trails along the shore. Very

Spectacular - Beautiful and spectacular. Parking nearby costs around CHF 1.5 per hour. The whole complex is well organized. The waterfalls can be seen very close even without taking the boats

You could do better - This tour is definitely not worth the money-We were surprised when we found out our “private tour” was just us with a guide escorting us on public transportation - we literally paid 1000 to take an hour ride on the crowded train to see 75 ft falls . Our guide was nice but provided barely any historical context . The castle was not open and it just felt like 90percent of the tour we were killing time . We could easily have done this without a guide and learned more The falls were pretty

Crazy prices - I was there years ago and you could visit and park freely. Now.... pure madness! A real legalized theft to see a natural landscape that should be common heritage. Between entrance and parking for a visit of a few tens of minutes of a normal passing family manage to take 30-40 euros..... phenomena! On the north bank we stopped with the car a few minutes just enough time to take some pictures and the children were lucky enough to know "the ogre of the rhein", an inhospitable inhabitant of the site who in a peremptory tone ordered us.... RAUS.!! Dear Swiss.... We are waiting for you in Italy!
