• Libearty Bear Sanctuary Zarnesti - The Bear Sanctuary Libearty Cultural Tour provides a wonderful chance to learn about the history of this sanctuary and meet the delightful bears that have been rescued and are now living without worries. The Sanctuary spans 69 hectares of oak forest, offering the bears the freedom they deserve. Some bears may even be released back into the wild if they demonstrate the necessary skills.

The Sanctuary is our first stop in the morning, coinciding with the bears’ feeding time, which naturally draws them closer for visitors to see. After breakfast, they typically retreat into the woods for a well-deserved rest, making mornings the perfect time to visit. Additionally, the Libearty Sanctuary is open from Tuesday to Sunday, and children under five are not permitted inside.

• Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - Explore the castle where the legend of Dracula is kept alive throughout the year. Constructed in the 13th Century, Bran Castle is a fascinating hilltop fortress and one of Romania’s most renowned landmarks.
