Wow! I’ll probably run... - Wow! I’ll probably run out of characters trying to explain how amazing this experience was. My brother and I went salmon fishing for the first time with Ryan as our guide. We had a 7am pick up time and our whole drive was filled with non stop conversation, looking for wild animals, and being informed on different tides, fishing mechanisms, and different fish (I even think my brother replaced me with Ryan 30 min into our drive). We drove to resurrection creek in the Kenai Peninsula and we were the first people there-one of the biggest advantages to an early start time. My brother was fairly knowledgeable on fishing, however this was my first time and Ryan was incredibly patient with me no matter how many times i held the rod incorrectly or even kept jamming my line in a rock. My brother caught a fish within the first 30 minutes of our arrival, and surprisingly enough I was able to catch a few fish myself (something I never thought would happen). Ryan was so patient and didn’t rush us even when we wanted to stay on and fish for another hour. At the end he filled our fish, packed it up for us to take back home, and even grilled one for us to eat right then and there (it doesn’t get more fresh than this). I cannot recommend this adventure enough, and if you do book it, you have to book with Ryan for a well rounded experience.

Best fishing ever - Had the best day ever with Ryan - he taught us two different types of fishing and made sure we all had his help throughout the day. He is so knowledgeable about Alaska and has some great hunting and fishing stories. I plan to fish with him every time I’m in Alaska!

A beautiful trip - Ryan did a great job. The fish weren’t cooperative but at least they didn’t bother us. We would repeat and highly recommend!

Great day of fishing - My friend and I had a great day fishing for Alaskan King Salmon in Alaska on this tour. Ryan is a great guide. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The hotel pickup was a must for us and Ryan picked us up right from the front door of our hotel and drove us out to a beautiful fishing spot along a glacial blue river. We managed to catch an Alaskan King Salmon and Ryan cooked it up for us right on the river. Would definitely recommend.

A relaxing and peaceful... - A relaxing and peaceful day on the river banks. Ryan was attentive, engaging and patient, Hubby caught a King Salmon and Ryan grilled the perfect lunch. Highly recommend.

Salmon fishing - Never have fished for salmon before. Our guide Ryan was knowledgeable in all aspects of this arena. He adjusted and tweaked the tackle all he could to entice the fish to bite. He did not disappoint! Great time! Will do it again when we visit Anchorage!

Excellent Guide, Fun Time - Highly recommended. I researched several different guides, and Ryan was the only one that provided transportation from Anchorage to the fishing spots. I was on a tight schedule, and didn't want to deal with reting a car. Ryan was great with my ten year old, and put us on some amazing fish. Neither of us had done any type of flyfishing before, and he taught us several techniques. The only downside is that I now have an expensive addiction. Thanks Ryan, for everything. We had an amazing time, and you made the perfect ending to our short trip. We will be back.

No bites - We fished at a river ~40min north of Anchorage. Did not have a single bite all day (no fish were caught by anyone in the group). Could have done the same thing for a fraction of the cost if I went to Walmart to buy a rod and drove up there. Ryan was a really nice guy, knew a lot, and in many ways can't control the fish biting or not. However, I wish there was another element to the activity to supplement that.
