Arba Minch → Key Afer Market → Turmi + Mursi Village Visit

Turmi - Following breakfast, travel south to Turmi, a cultural hub of the Omo Valley. On Thursday, visit the vibrant Key Afer Market, one of the largest tribal markets in the area, frequented by the Ari, Banna, and Tsemay communities.

Subsequently, explore the new Mursi village near Key Afer, providing a rare chance to meet the Mursi people, renowned for their lip plates and traditional body scarification.

Continue the journey to Turmi, concluding the day with an afternoon visit to a Hamer village, where you can learn about their lifestyle, hairstyles, traditions, and seasonal ceremonies.

Karo Tribe Visit → Turmi → Dimeka Market → Konso

Konso Cultural Centre - Begin the day by traveling to the banks of the Omo River to meet the Karo tribe, famous for their intricate body painting and scenic clifftop villages overlooking the river. Enjoy excellent photography opportunities and cultural engagement.

Return to Turmi for lunch, then proceed to Konso. On Saturday, make a stop at the bustling Dimeka Market, one of the most genuine markets in the Lower Omo Valley.

Continue to Konso, which is home to Ethiopia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Landscape.
