Tarangire National Park - As Tanzania’s third largest national park, it is renowned for its impressive baobab trees that tower over the animals grazing below. The Tarangire River is the heart of this park, celebrated for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. Visitors may also encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffes, and zebras. After the game drive, guests will return to their camp or lodge where a delightful dinner awaits.
Ngorongoro Crater Tour (6 Hours)
Ngorongoro Crater - On the final day of the safari, an early start is planned. Following a quick breakfast, the descent into the crater floor begins around 6:30 AM. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, featuring a vast floor of approximately 260 square kilometers and a depth exceeding 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor offers abundant wildlife sightings. Keeping a camera ready is highly recommended. The area is rich with African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After enjoying a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo pool, the journey continues with a steep ascent to the crater’s top exit. This marks the final stretch of the safari, with a 4-hour drive back to Arusha. Guests will be dropped off at their chosen location in Arusha by 6:00 PM. With an unforgettable experience and many cherished memories, this is the moment to bid farewell to the team.
