Lake Manyara National Park - Begin your adventure with a hotel pick-up at 08:30 AM, embarking on a scenic journey across the Great Rift Valley for a full-day game drive. Despite its modest size (205 sq. miles), the park is renowned for its stunning landscapes, lush acacia forests, giant figs, and mahogany trees, as well as its thriving populations of baboons and blue monkeys. The park is also home to giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes. The lake hosts numerous hippos. The breathtaking landscapes of Lake Manyara offer unparalleled photo opportunities, with giraffes and buffaloes set against the backdrop of the lake. Additional tours, such as a bike tour or a boat excursion, are available.

Serengeti National Park:

Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, set off towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The drive, though lengthy, is spectacular and promises to be an unforgettable experience for first-time visitors. As you delve deeper into the Serengeti, you’ll understand why its name translates to “endless plains” in the local language. Spanning 6,900 sq. miles (18,000 sq. km), the plains stretch to the horizon, challenging your senses and perception of distance. The park is home to the Great Migration, with 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelopes. It’s also a prime location for spotting Big Cats and large predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many iconic scenes, such as river crossings, filmed here.

Each day, your guide will discuss the best timings for activities, including game drives and wake-up times. For instance, you might opt for a morning game drive, return to camp for lunch and relaxation, and conclude with an afternoon game drive, or choose a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - We recommend an early start to enjoy a morning game drive when the animals are most active and witness a breathtaking sunrise. After the game drive, return to camp for a delightful brunch before heading to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater spans 102 sq. miles with 2,000 ft high walls, resembling Noah’s ark and housing nearly every species native to East Africa. It’s one of the few places on the continent where you can see the Black Rhino. The crater features a river, swamps, a soda lake with flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It’s also known for its elephants, the largest in the world with enormous tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. Arrive at Ngorongoro in time for a sundowner.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Drive Back to Arusha:

Ngorongoro Crater - Begin the day early by descending into the crater floor for an extraordinary morning of wildlife viewing in one of the planet’s most stunning locations. After the game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch near the picturesque hippo lake. Following lunch, there will be time for a brief game drive before ascending the crater and exiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha. Expect to return to Arusha around 5 pm, with an overnight stay at Arusha Planet Lodge on a Bed and Breakfast basis.
