Zanzibar Fly Arusha - Drive to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, the tour begins with a drive to Tarangire, the third largest national park in northern Tanzania, known for its exceptionally large elephant population. The park is adorned with majestic baobab trees, which tower over the animals that graze beneath them. Wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River, the area’s only permanent water source. The park boasts a rich variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six thousand elephants. Guests will depart with lunch boxes from Arusha and enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site with a beautiful view of the Tarangire River. Later, they will drive to their lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, located outside the park with a stunning view.

Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater - Kilimanjaro International Airport

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, the journey continues to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where guests will descend into the crater for an exciting game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its 2000 ft. high walls, the crater has the highest density of wild animals in the world, as very few animals migrate in and out. Visitors can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, numerous birds, and other species. There is a good chance of spotting the ‘Big Five’ in one day. Later, guests will ascend from the crater floor and drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch their evening flight to Zanzibar.
