Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Begin the day with an early breakfast before heading to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive, complete with a picnic lunch. The park is famous for its large herds of up to 300 elephants that dig into the dry riverbed in search of underground streams. Additionally, nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland gather around the shrinking lagoons. During the dry season, the Tarangire River attracts migrating wildlife. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at Kankari Karatu Lodge.

Drive to Serengeti National Park

Lake Manyara - After breakfast, the journey continues to Lake Manyara National Park. This compact park offers stunning vistas and diverse habitats, including acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-dotted cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. These environments support a rich variety of animal species and remarkable birdlife. Lake Manyara boasts the world’s largest concentration of baboons, and its lions are famous for their tree-climbing behavior. Dinner and overnight accommodations are at Kankari Lodge.

Drive to Serengeti National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - This day is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti. The park is teeming with wildlife such as impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos, but it is most renowned for the massive migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. These animals migrate from the northern woodlands and hills to the southern grassy plains in November and December, and return north during the rainy season from April to June. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Central Serengeti Luxury Camp.

Central Serengeti - Ngorongoro Highlands

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Start the day early with a game drive in Serengeti National Park, where you might spot wildebeest, lions, elephants, leopards, impalas, gazelles, cheetahs, and possibly witness the wildebeest migration before brunch. Afterward, pack up and head to Ngorongoro, enjoying an en-route game drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro, arriving late in the evening. Dinner and overnight accommodations are at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Tented Camp on the crater rim.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - Following an early breakfast, descend to the crater floor for a 6-hour game viewing experience to observe the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and possibly black rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok Spring within the crater. Other mammals such as hippos, giraffes, warthogs, baboons, and various birds can also be seen.

After approximately 6 hours, ascend the crater rim and return to Arusha, with an en-route game drive through Mto wa Mbu village. In the evening, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha town or at the airport.
