Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Arusha. After a scenic 2.5-hour drive, they will arrive at Tarangire National Park. Situated 120 km south of Arusha, this elongated park spans 2850 km² along the Tarangire River. The park’s name is derived from this river, which serves as the sole water source for wildlife during the dry season. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population, majestic baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. At day’s end, guests will proceed to Marera Valley Lodge.

Drive to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, the journey continues to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A brief stop at the gate offers a stunning view of the crater. Arriving in the late afternoon, guests will embark on a game drive in Seronera, the heart of Serengeti. The drive extends into the evening, allowing for a spectacular sunset view and close encounters with wildlife. There may even be a chance to witness a predator in action! The day concludes at Safari Haven Camp.

Central Serengeti - Northern Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - The day is dedicated to exploring the expansive Serengeti, traveling northwest to follow wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, guests will set off on a morning game drive with a picnic lunch. The focus will be on the Mara River, hoping to witness the migration herds crossing. The game drive continues until evening, culminating in dinner and an overnight stay at Heritage Mara Camp, where wildlife can often be seen.

Northern Serengeti - Central Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - The journey heads west back to the Mara River, where guests can observe wildebeest formations preparing to cross. With luck, the migration will be underway. After an early breakfast, the game drive begins, followed by lunch and continued exploration until evening. The day ends at Safari Haven Camp.

Drive to Ngorongoro Highlands

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast, a game drive south of Serengeti towards Seronera is planned. The exit from Serengeti occurs in the late afternoon, leading to Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp. This lodge, perched on the crater rim, offers breathtaking views of the crater.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - A game drive in the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater is on today’s agenda. With a diameter of about 20 kilometers and a 600-meter-high crater wall, it is the world’s largest intact crater. Home to an estimated 30,000 large mammals, the crater features a central Salt Lake and is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas globally. It is a unique habitat where animals coexist with the indigenous Maasai and Hadzabe people. From the crater’s edge, the view of its remarkable inhabitants is awe-inspiring. In the afternoon, guests will return to Arusha or be taken directly to the airport.
