Meteora - After enjoying lunch in Delphi (at your own expense), continue by coach to Kalambaka, a modern town often referred to as the gateway to Meteora. Check into your hotel in time for dinner, and then enjoy a leisurely evening.

Kalambaka - Meteora Monasteries - Athens

Great Meteoron Monastery - After breakfast, check out of your hotel and visit the nearby rock towers of Meteora, stunning sandstone peaks crowned with 11th-century monasteries. Accompanied by your guide, visit two monasteries and take in the breathtaking panoramic views from the top.

Explore the Great Meteoron Monastery, the highest and largest monastery in Meteora, and gain fascinating insights into its history from your guide. Discover how it was constructed in the 14th century by a monk who, according to legend, ascended the rock on the back of an eagle. Enjoy the views from the monastery windows and visit the Church of the Transfiguration to admire its ornate 16th-century nave.

Monastery of St. Stephan - The second monastery on your visit is Agios Stefanos, now functioning as a nunnery. Explore the ruins with your guide and admire the fresco of the Virgin Mary in the main refectory, believed to date back to the 15th century.

Key Tours - Board your coach and return to Athens, making stops in the town of Thermopylae and at Kamena Vourla hot springs. Arrive back in Athens in the early evening.
