I’m a big history lover,... - I’m a big history lover, and my wife found an Atlanta city tour for us—easily a 10/10 experience. Omar, our “Chief Journey Ambassador,” was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. I highly recommend this tour!

Must do tour in ATL - Jeff M. was a great host for our exploration of Atlanta. He was funny and informative. He summarized the immense amount of Black History in the city while stopping at several historical landmarks and showing us many others from the comfort of the shuttle; including pictures, videos, and physical props to supplement his delivery. We appreciated his local insights and going well beyond the requirement. He also shared a full list of local restaurant suggestions applicable to all interests and the group photo we took. Next time we’re in Atlanta we plan to do one of his other tours too!

Your Black History &... - Your Black History & Culture Tour was AWESOME! Jeff, our tour guide, showed & shared the REAL HISTORY OF ATLANTA, especially now as it is revitalizing to becoming new WALL STREET OF THE SOUTH! Not only did we have the opportunity to stop at various locations like the MLK National Memorial Park, Ebenezer Baptist Church, we did drive by of the Atlanta HBCU, Tyler Perry’s Studios, Madea’s original Home. The highlight of our tour, for me,was the opportunity to stop, shop, & support our various black owned businesses and entrepreneurs. I REALLY LOVED THE ITEMS I PURCHASED FROM THE AFRICAN SHOP! I also enjoyed connecting with Ms. Sherry, husband & grands on our tour because Mr. Jeff intentionally kept our group small! I would love to connect with you tour the next time I visit Atlanta & highly recommend it to my family and friends👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Atlanta’s REAL Black History & Culture Experience! - This Black History & Civil Right Tour of Atlanta was Phenomenal! Jeff, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable of all of Atlanta’s old & recent history from sharing the history of WEB du Bois former slave,Harvard Grad, and cofounder of NAACP to Tyler Perry’s historical rise from poverty to creating & owning Tyler Perry Studios as well as sharing Tyler’s enormous philanthropy work for Atlanta’s Black Community & beyond. Besides taking us to the MLK Center for Non Violence & Ebenezer Baptist Church, we did drive by tours of Atlanta’s HBCU Campuses of Morehouse,Spillman, Morris Brown, Morehouse Theological Seminary. . The highlight of our Black History & Culture of Atlanta for me, was stopping, shopping and supporting our Atlanta’s various Black Owned Businesses & entrepreneurs, especially the African Garment Shop!!! OVERALL if you are looking for more than the traditional tourist view of Alanta Block History and Culture in an intimate small group setting, THIS TOUR & MR. AS YOUR TOUR GUIDE,IS WORTH EVERY DIME, INCLUDING THE $30 PARKING FEE!!!
