Needy chaotic customers! - The staff at this shop are really brilliant. They are so busy, but always good natured, cheerful and helpful. They go above and beyond. We had several problems with logistics, swapping kit, us generally causing chaos and they sorted everything out for us, no fuss or bother. Absolutely outstanding, highly recommend this team.

You want great service & expertise go to Taventuria - Excellent service and equipment is 1st class. They go out of their way to assist you. My daughter was very sick so I asked for a taxi. Straight away they said no need and took her to our chalet. For me that is highest of service. Thank you!

Review - I went on a ski trip to Bansko and needed to rent ski equipment. But I didn't do the booking online. I needed to rent on the same day I went skiing and the staff member gave me a 20%discount. Great service, very helpful and polite staff, very good clean and well maintained and comfortable equipment, lockers available to leave equipment instead of taking to the hotel for a good price. And equipment I felt very comfortable while skiing. Also the staff made my stay in Bansko very enjoyable.I would definitely rent there again because I wanna come back to Bansko again.

Absolutely amazing, couldn’t recommend enough! - Wow. Traventuria have been world class. I couldn’t not recommend them enough. If like me a few months ago, you’re looking to book your first ski trip or your first trip to Bansko, Bulgaria - hopefully this review will help. I didn’t know where to start with transfers from Sofia airport which is where I first found Traventuria who offer group or private airport transfers, this led me to find their ski package deals where you get: hotel (with breakfast), transfers, lift pass, equipment hire and lessons in one bundle. As this was my first time booking a ski holiday myself I went for the package for ease knowing one company would be looking after everything and be able to answer any questions. When I booked the package (we went for 3* hotel deal) we thought it was great value. Having now been here for 4 days and spoken to various people on chairlifts who have booked independently or via Balkan Holidays, Crystal Ski etc. I can confirm it wasn’t just great value, but a bargain! Hotel: we got put in Hotel IDA which they say they will aim for but if not something similar and it’s been great. It’s basic but has everything you need, comfy bed, good breakfast, modern bathroom, mini fridge. Transfer: we flew in the night before, stayed at the Best Western hotel (book direct, cheaper!) and then got a transfer the following day as we landed at midnight but it worked out so much cheaper. The transfer bus was punctual and comfy, with recliner chairs and aircon. Equipment hire: Shoutout to Alex (Santa Claus) who sorted our lift passes and showed us how to put our boots on properly and managed to track down a coat we left on the transfer bus (for the one day we had without the coat, Alex let us borrow a coat free of charge, thank you!). The skis and boots were really good quality, shoutout to George the ski technician - he was great. Top tip: pay that little extra for a locker (10 lev per day, 1 locker is good for 2 people) they are a game changer not having to carry all your equipment to and from the hotel and coming back to dry/warm boots, gloves, skis etc.! Ski lessons: To be able to offer ski package holidays, Traventuria HAVE to use Ulen Ski School for group lessons. Our first 2 days we had a really poor instructor with a terrible attitude, we mentioned this to Annie and the next day we were in a different group with an incredible instructor - made such a difference. Can’t thank Annie enough for that as it really really helped our skiing. However, if I was booking again, I would pay that little extra and get private lessons with Traventuria as you’d get more out of 2/3 days privately than you would with 3/6 days in a group. In summary, if you’re looking to book a ski holiday to Bansko - use Traventuria. Unbelievable value, great equipment, incredible staff with world class customer service. I have never written such a long review, which hopefully shows just how impressed we have been 😂

10 years on and still offering great service. - Great service, very knowledgeable and been there for years, used back in 2015. Happy to take credit cards. . When we were there they had later opening than many hire places. We skiied later to miss the huge gondola queues first thing in morning. Good if you want to store your gear there and put regular shoes back on - saves getting all the gear back to hotel.

Think Helmets - Booked skis and boots via alpy.com at reasonable price. No option given to add helmets. Looked around uk shops and almost bought cheap helmet from decathlon. But had read you could rent for about 5 euro and kids were free. Arrived in store got fitted with skis, very busy shop, but when asking about helmets was told 55euro/22 for 16 y/o, so shopped about and found Ice Angels (Pirin st) stocked 25 euro helmet and 65 euro helmet.

customer service' is a joke. - blatant dishonesty, their 'customer service' is a joke. Instead of solving the mess THEY created, they respond with sarcasm and insults. It’s clear they have zero liquidity and are desperate to keep every cent, no matter how much they have to lie. Booking here is a huge financial risk. You’ve been warned: they are bullies with your credit card details. Avoid like the plague.

Stay back, really bad service!! - The experience was terrible, The workers in the store practically laughed at me at my face, they were mean and didn’t helped at all. Go to TSAKIRIS in the same street, much better service with great workers and great ski. STAY BACK FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY
