• Rio de Janeiro - Participants will engage in the Discovery Kitesurfing Course offered by the IKO - International Kitesurfing Organization, a global leader in kitesurfing education. During the session, participants will learn:

• Conducting an SEA (Spot, Environment, Activity) Assessment
• Proper techniques for holding, carrying, and securing a kite on land
• Kite setup procedures
• Utilization of safety systems
• Performing a pre-flight check
• Assisting in launching and landing
• Mastering kite control while flying, including exploring the wind window’s edges
• Releasing the bar
• Twisting and untwisting the lines
• Flying with one hand
• Understanding and applying the trim discovery concept
• Walking while flying the kite
• Launching and landing as a pilot
• Wind Window Theory
• Activating the In-Flight Quick Release
• Packing the equipment

Upon finishing this course, students will qualify to enroll in the Intermediate Level 2 course.
