Highly recommended - From the moment we started planning our trip to the UK, we said: we have to visit the Cotswolds. That’s how we found Mad Max, who offered a tour covering the villages we wanted to see—and it truly exceeded our expectations.
Bill picked us up in Bath and took us around those magnificent villages that, otherwise, we wouldn’t have been able to visit—or it would have taken us much longer than just one day. Everything was fantastic.
And Bill really made the difference. Even though there was a language barrier—he spoke English and we spoke Spanish—he made himself perfectly understood and also understood us.
I highly recommend Mad Max, and I strongly recommend Bill.
We would like to give special recognition to Bill, who brought great energy and passion to the trip, sharing all the details about the villages and the history of England. We also ended the journey with some great music in the van.

Exactly what I was looking for! - Absolutely loved this tour! Such a convenient and stress-free way of seeing the highlights of the Cotswolds, with just enough time to see each village. Our guide, Andy, was also so lovely and knowledgeable with facts along the way. 10/10!

Our guide Sean was... - Our guide Sean was amazing, would highly recommend this tour. He told us a looot of interesting info on history of these villages, also stories about random placer we drove through them, and he was funny all the time. Great expetience!

A heartwarming experience - I highly recommend this tour! Everything I experienced in the UK was new and exciting, but what made it truly special was our wonderful guide. As a solo traveler from Japan, I felt so welcomed by his warmth. He genuinely loves interacting with people—every time we returned to the bus, he’d ask with a big smile how we liked the sights. His kindness and passion turned a great trip into an unforgettable one.

Beautiful tour - The tour covered 4 of the beautiful villages in the Cotswold. Our driver/tour guide was Bill and he was wonderful. He kept us entertained the entire ride with interesting stories and information.

Great tour of Costwolds - I really enjoyed the Cotswolds tour with the guide Andy! He was very informative and fun. The itinerary was great and the mini bus was very comfortable. The Cotswolds area is beautiful and we had enough time to explore everything. I was staying in Bristol but it was easy to take a train to Bath to take the tour with Mad Max company. I'm Czech and I had a great day as a solo traveller.

Stunning Cotswolds Tour - We went on a Cotswolds tour with our kind tour guide Bill. He told us many interesting and quirky facts/stories about the stunning places we visited. Our favourite spot was Castle Combe! We definitely recommend going on this tour :)

I think this tour is a... - I think this tour is a great way to explore small towns in the Cotswolds that are usually difficult for travelers to reach by public transportation. The guide provided informative introductions about the history and scenery along the way, and was very friendly in pointing out places worth visiting.
However, I would recommend going on a weekday if possible—during this trip on a weekend, there was heavier traffic and larger crowds. In addition, the journey involves quite a lot of time on the coach, and for some villages, you can only view them from the bus rather than walk around, so at times it feels more like a sightseeing drive.
