• Longqing Gorge - The scenery here is reminiscent of the Li River in Guilin, but the water is notably clearer. Upon arrival, the first sight is the Longqing Dam, a seventy-meter-high structure nestled between hills. From the dam’s north side, you can admire the stunning view of hills and white clouds mirrored in the deep green water. To access the dam, take the elevator located inside an artificial dragon. This impressive dragon conceals a 258-meter (846 feet) long elevator that ascends to a height of 90 meters. After descending from the dam, enjoy a cruise along the river to take in the breathtaking views. Each turn around a hill reveals a new vista, with steep, forested cliffs and uniquely shaped bare limestone formations sculpted by water’s natural force.
