Mutianyu Great Wall - The Mutianyu Great Wall is considered the most beautiful section in Beijng part of whole China Great Wall.
Located in Huairou County 72km northeast of Beijing, it stands opposite of Badaling Great Wall, connected with Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou Gateway in the east. The whole area is like a garden on a mountain top. There are abundant natural springs which feed a great variety of plants and fruit trees, keeping the air fresh all year long. The scenic beauty is excellent especially in spring and autumn.
You will take roundtrip cable car go up and down then hike on the top. Or you can take cable car up and slide way down.
Your privte guide and driver will take your back hotel at the end of the tour.

Catherine Lu Tours Made the Difference - We enjoyed four separate tours with Catherine Lu Tours and I can't speak highly enough of the company and especially the four guides it provided ( Vivien, Joy, May and Kai). In each case, they turned what could have been a fraught experience into a great one.
The thing to remember is that wherever you go in China, especially the Forbidden City and Great Wall, there are masses of people from all over the world with whom you are literally rubbing shoulders or simply being shouldered aside. Having someone to help negotiate the crowd, expedite ticketing, point you in the direction of the best viewing spots as well as organise transport to and from makes a vast difference.
Our guides were all subject experts whose knowledge and English language skills added greatly to our understanding of the places we visited which included the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Terracotta Warriors in Xian.
Communicating with the company was clear, responsive and straightforward. We found we could customize tours to suit our needs.

Wonderful private tour - We had an amazing time visiting the Great Wall. Catherine Lu Tours offer a great service from start to end. Booking was easy and all communication was very clear in English. We paid our deposit from the UK using AliPay and then paid the balance in China again using AliPay. Very easy.
On the day of our trip our guide, the wonderful Jenny, collected us from the hotel and we were taken straight to the Great Wall. The driver was excellent and the car was comfortable. We had a really enjoyable hike along the wall with lots of small facts from Jenny along the way! Stunning views and we had plenty of time to soak up the history of the Great Wall.
We took some lovely photographs and we went at our own pace on the tour. Jenny was very knowledgeable about the history of the Wall and the general history of China, we learned a lot.
The whole day ran very smoothly and we were returned to our hotel having had a brilliant experience. I know some people like to tackle this trip on their own but having a guide really does make the whole experience so much better. Catherine Lu Tours offer excellent value for money - its worth every penny.
Thanks again to everyone at Catherine Lu Tours, in particular Jenny who was brilliant, as we would not have had such a good day without you!

Easy trip and great guide! - Our tour guide arrived on time for pick up and we spent the morning at the wall. It was a seamless experience from start to finish which meant that we could just concentrate on enjoying our time together. Bill was very knowledgeable and also great at interacting with my children which made them feel very comfortable. Overall a great trip!

Excellent guide - We had an amazing experience with Song during our visit to the Great Wall. From the very beginning, he was incredibly attentive and made sure everything went perfectly.
He has such a great energy that makes the whole experience even more special. One of the best parts is that he speaks Spanish very well, which made communication so easy for us.
He explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of the entire time.
We would definitely recommend him if you’re looking for a professional, kind, and positive guide. ✨

Best Experience Ever - We had the best experience touring Beijing with May. She is very knowledgeable and kind. The great wall part out the tour was a once and a life time experience. I highly recommend if you looking for a company to tour with.

Interesting trip to mutianyu - Had an amazing day on the great wall with my guide Justin. Value for money and highly recommend booking a trip with Cathrine lu tours, their guides know a lot. Justin was really good at explaining the history of the wall and finding good spots for perfect photos. After the trip I had a very nice lunch which was included in the trip.

Great tour and translating service! - We went on the Mutianyu tour with the awesome, Kathy🙌🏻
She was very informative, professional, and kind. We felt taken care of from the beginning to end of our tour.
She made the day fun and relaxing for us.
Will definitely recommend to all our friends and families back home.
For a different day, we also inquired about help with translating.
We had a Ming Dynasty photoshoot and needed a lot of help.
Catherine was amazing to work with and easy to coordinate.
We were so lucky to have her translating the photographers instructions as well as the make-up artist.
