Mutianyu Great Wall - The drive to the Great Wall at Mutianyu from downtown Beijing takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, it will take approximately half an hour to reach the Great Wall, including time for purchasing tickets, using the restroom, and walking to the cable car or chairlift station. Completing this section of the Great Wall in 8 hours makes for a relaxed day trip, especially for family holidays. It will be an enjoyable and unhurried experience. This is one of the most famous and ideal sections of the Great Wall.
Lunch options are available after walking the Great Wall. You may choose to rest at a Subway restaurant and enjoy a table under the sunshine, opt for a dumpling restaurant near the Great Wall parking area, or select a local restaurant on the way back to Beijing. Your driver will provide the best advice based on your preferences. (Lunch fees are not included.) - Olympic Park - Drive past

Sue is the best! - If you are visiting the Great Wall, do yourself a favor and book with Sue from Leo d private tour. We loved the privacy of having our own comfortable car, which gave us a much more relaxed pace and flexibility than a big bus tour. Sue was a delight, very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with in English, and she knew all the best spots for photos! We have so many memories!
She guided us easily between the queues of people and made us spend the most time on the wall itself. The delicious lunch at a local place was the cherry on the top! Thank you, Sue, for making our trip so special!

We had a wonderful... - We had a wonderful experience with Mr. Deng, our guide from Leo’s private tour, to the Mutianyu Great Wall. We had plenty of free time to spend at the wall. He was incredibly kind, friendly, and patient throughout the entire trip. Not only did he drive safely and comfortably, but he also went above and beyond by helping us purchase our tickets and making sure we knew exactly where to go.
Mr. Deng shared so many helpful tips about buying fruits, gifts, and local products in Beijing, which made the rest of our trip even smoother. His warm attitude and genuine care made the day feel easy and enjoyable.
Highly recommend Mr. Deng and Leo travels to anyone looking for a trustworthy and smooth experience.

Beijing Tour - Had an amazing tour with Leo’s Private Tour with Lilia as our tour guide. She was not only very informative with great English, but she knew all the good photo spots and was a great photographer! We now have so many beautiful snaps to remember our trip. Someone in our group also had an unexpected medical emergency and she was very helpful and quick to get assistance.

Great tour with Sue - The tour was amazing. Picked up at our hotel and the tour guide Sue shared the history on the way to the Great Wall. Able to explore at your own pace and Sue was there to offer advice and guidance. Sue recommend a great local restaurant for lunch.

Reliable, friendly and knowledgeable driver - We had Mr.Ping from Leo’s private tour as our private driver to Mutianyu Great Wall and was extremely satisfied with his service. He proactively contacted us the day prior and arrived on time for pick up the next day. He then helped arrange our itinerary at the Great Wall based on what we wanted to see and do, bought us all the required tickets and really just saved us a lot of valuable time overall. He speaks English well and is very friendly and knowledgeable about the Wall’s history. We really enjoyed chatting with him throughout and would certainly recommend him for anyone looking for a private driver to Mutianyu Great Wall.
