• Mutianyu Great Wall - The drive to the Great Wall at Mutianyu from downtown Beijing takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, it will take approximately half an hour to reach the Great Wall, including time for purchasing tickets, using the restroom, and walking to the cable car or chairlift station. Completing this section of the Great Wall in 8 hours makes for a relaxed day trip, especially for family holidays. It will be an enjoyable and unhurried experience. This is one of the most famous and ideal sections of the Great Wall.
  Lunch options are available after walking the Great Wall. You may choose to rest at a Subway restaurant and enjoy a table under the sunshine, opt for a dumpling restaurant near the Great Wall parking area, or select a local restaurant on the way back to Beijing. Your driver will provide the best advice based on your preferences. (Lunch fees are not included.)
