According to legend, it was formed from the tears of shepherd Paul, who lost his herd, giving the lake its salty water. The 17 km long shoreline offers a beautiful promenade perfect for a leisurely walk. During the stroll, you can see the Water Tower, Big Terrace, Music Pavilion, Women’s Lido, and more.
- Subotica - The tour continues with a short drive to Subotica. Situated in the north of the Republic of Serbia between the Danube and Tisa rivers, this unique town is renowned for its Art Nouveau style and is considered the most beautiful Serbian city.
- Subotica Synagogue - Begin the Subotica City Tour with a visit to the Subotica Synagogue, one of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe. Its exceptional beauty is sure to leave you breathless.
- City Hall (Gradska kuca) - Unlike many European cities, Subotica’s center is dominated not by a cathedral or church, but by a City Hall. Its location, size, and ornate Hungarian Art Nouveau architecture make it a landmark and the main symbol of Subotica.
